Definately time to do some feet stamping, that money is rightly yours and why should your month be made even more difficult by their incompetence.

I feel outraged on your behalf, I hate things like this.

  • Thanks guys I'm off work today but will give them a ring tomorrow.

On a more positive note the Amazon money has finally hit my account so I'm going to check I've got enough to cover the DD's due out tomorrow and if there's enough money there I'll pay the Amazon money off Shapely.

    Be back to update now.....

  • Oooo it's touch and go, think I may wait until the weekend and see what's left over. Have still got the poll tax to pay yet so don't want to find myself going over my budget. :(

  • Well I've not got very far in work regarding the money. I spoke to payroll and they need my Manager to e-mail her manager who will then need to e-mail payroll. Unfortunately my manager is off until a week Monday so can't do anything until then Grrrrr. Have managed to scrape enough money together for all the DD's and can now transfer the £15 to Shapely so that's good news. I still haven't paid my poll tax though so that's something I must do today. I can use the tax credits to pay that as I did a big food shop on Wednesday.

Have got about 20 items ending on e-bay tonight, they are only the 99p items so can't see me making big money on them but every little will help. I also had £14 worth of loose change in my purse yesterday so popped that in the sealed jar. How good am I?????

Was up early this morning and bleached the bathroom, scrubbed the kitchen and bitzed the dining room, living room, front room and hall. Going to chill out this afternoon and watch some films and read my book, that's the plan.

  • With an obvious lack of money this weekend I really need to do something productive so I'm going to go through all my Studio statements and see what charges they have added to my account. I'm going to write and ask them nicely if I can please have them back. They've not been very nice so I can't see me getting anywhere but I'm going to ask all the same.

  • Thanks Red, well I've been through my studio statements and I've already reclaimed the late payment fees back so that's a no go. Now where on earth can I get some extra cash from?

Have you tried DooYoo? They pay in cash. The general gist is you write 150+ words of credible waffle about pretty much anything and they give you 500 points, other people read them and click to rate you and you get another 15 points and at 20,000 points you can claim an Amazon certificate or 50,000 points gets you £50.

There aren't many things you can't waffle about. Pretty much everything on telly, books, magazines, food, drink, toasters etc. etc. On a good day I can rattle out 5 reviews in next to no time. On average it takes me 75 reviews to reach £50 payment which is by cheque 2 weeks after you claim. If you refer your friends they also credit you with 500 points per referral.

Its not everyones cup of tea though.
