 must confess I havent had the courage to speak to mine, sent them all a letter explaining what I was doing, cap one have got hold of my phone number so they have been calling twice a day, :eek:only know its them because I googled their number and up came a web site that was full of bile aimed at them along with every other phone number that they use, they are not the most popular people:eek: lol
have been a bit stuck with my DMP, cause my wages went in to lloyds and they are my biggest bill, so have had to sit tight until my wages are swopped and also working tax and CB. however all the new bank stuff is in place and because natwest were slow coming back to me I went to barclays so have now ended up with 2 bank accounts.
I spoke to the lady from cccs on monday and she was lovely said dont worry just make sure your moneys safe first, so I officially start my DMP on 1st April, (sorry lloyds...April Fool):rotfl::rotfl:
the turf out is still going well 2 bedrooms and a bathroom:A spring cleaned, How do 2 bedrooms collect enough dust to fill a dyson, god knows!!! but they are all cleaned spotless and everyones under threat of death, and I need to go back to work tomorrow for a rest lol xx:beer:life sometimes gets in the way of good intentions:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well You Guys Are Diamonds!
I'm just making a quick post here. Although I've been looking at this site for a few years, I'm truly a newbie when it comes to the forums. (I used to look at Martin's 'how to' and 'cheapest' sections e.g. utilities and broadband etc.) Just after I started this thread I started reading a thread called 'I can't afford my wife any more' by someone called 'enabler' and I was appalled and really upset by how he was just kinda hounded off of the site. Really judgemental critisisims and shaming condemnation of his wife. One helpful git even suggested putting her on the game!
If there's one thing I know I'm going to do, it's going to make mistakes. I'm going to be an a DMP for the next few decades, if things don't change, I'm hoping they will, but I can assure you I don't think I can attain a path to sainthood no matter how much I want to be shot of my debts.
Anyhow, that experience put me right off of this site. I'll be honest, it frightened me.
Since I last posted, I've been diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and have discovered I've developed joint disorders as a consequence. So at the moment, I'm completing the forms in the hope my DLA will be increased. It's something I absoloutly loath and hate doing with a vengence. It's horrible and the worst thing about it is that if you fill it all in as if you are having the worst possible time ever, it becomes like an evil spell and I then have a couple of weeks when I really do feel that bad.
So anyhow, I won't use you any more to delay the inevitable, and come back over the weekend and have a good read and chat.
But to you guys who kept this thread going. Thank you. A very big, thank you. Let's please, keep this thread a safe and supportive place. It's certainly what I need and was hoping for.

Hi Chillout glad your back, you started this thread and then disapeared(god I wish I could spell or knew where to find spell check lol)
we have the makings of a good little thread going:T dont let others put you off. I've only been posting a week or two and about to start my DMP on 1st April, will be debt free, hopefully in 5 & 1/2 yrs:cool:. everyone has been brilliant only once did I feel like maybe I'd asked a stupid question, but think maybe I'd rambled on to much. I am prone to do that.
anyway nearly put me off but then I thought, well if I need to know the answer and dont, then its hardly a stupid question.
See your not far from me....and my fav store (Ikea) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:life sometimes gets in the way of good intentions:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
