I guess it must be different for Childminders as they need the CRB check by law, and I think there is some kind of governing body that would recieve the check for the childminder to get registered?

Thinking back, (it was about 18 years ago!) I think maybe the CRB went to the council I was registered with.

My daughter had a pamper party a few years ago ~ it was on site, when they had a disco room, a dressing up room, a games room, and then the pamper room where they got their hair and nails done while sipping cocktails (non alcoholic of course!).

I don't quite see the point in having someone come in and entertain kids in your own home ~ go to somewhere on site where the kids can leave the mess there lol!

Fantastic research Mr T. This review of Little Divaz food made me feel a little ill:

"1 plate home made squashed tuna sandwiches which we were told had been made the day before , 8 very smal squares of cold hard pizza , a chocolate fountain machine caked in old chocolate from the last time it was used, a bag of peanuts ( yes peanuts at a 4 years old party ) and 4 bags of crisps , semi frozen gateaux , all food quite warm and stale , THERE WAS BLACK HAIR IN THE SANDWICHES ..not quite the Princess party we were told about.."

She's 21, and she uses this as her most frequent excuse for why her business is not going well. She sent me an email stating:

" I am a 21 year old entreprneur trying to buld up a successful business and feel that a lot of people have taken the !!!! out of me within business because i am so young. "

I set my business up when I was 23, never used it as an excuse! I was running a busy restaurant when I was 20, my age was never an issue!! If you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen!!

Wow is all I can say you MSE bunch are like an online detective agency, I have been trying to find out as much as I can about Little Divaz and Katie Brown, in case I don't get the refund and have to take it further but you have found so much, all the websites listed to her and the deleted reviews.
I do hope this is the wake up call to her and she realises that you can not mess about with kids parties as when children get upset its like red rag to a bull too parents.
