my dd wanted one of these a couple of years ago but it was going to be v expensive so me and my sister did one for her.

    chocolate facepacks - home bargains
nail varnish - i already have loads of every colour you can think off
manacure stuff - i have moisturiser, nail files etc
jewels - my sister crafts and has lots
    husband has a footspa

food was a bbq and then a chocolate fondue with lots of dippy things, my sister made a lovely cake far nicer than a bought one

can't remember how much it cost but it wasnt much considering we had 12 giggly girls, we were worn out at the end with all the pampering we did for them!

could not imagine how upset she would have been if the person didnt turn up - horrible girl
'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time
  • Yes, I appreciate that these parties can be expensive, but it takes the stress for some people who either don't have the time, patience or for whatever reason they ask us to help out

I love my job and seeing children's faces light up - people often ask how I cope with the screaming and shouting that goes with a party - well it is only for a short amount of time and who wouldn't want to go to a children's party and make it special for them and their family, and give them memories that they will hopefully treasure for a long time to come.

    Need I say more :)

Would you after reading this forum thread lol!
From what I can see it's total sour grapes as the company has been outted for the terrible disservice, Excellent for you if you had a successful party, but there are plenty that have been let down and lied to and I for one, would not touch this company, word of mouth goes a long way!! Call me neurotic, but I like to read reviews on things before I part with my hard earned cash!

how rude. have you all heard yourselves. My daughter is not a little girl and having spa treatments before everyone goes to sleep seemed a great idea as everyone would be relaxed etc.Are you criticising my role as a parent? We took the only time the company could give us as they were booked up and we were happy with it. The girls parents didnt mind picking them up late, after all they had time to theirselves!

Has anyone here actually booked anything from the company?

I actually had a spa party from this company on sunday and i must say it was rather outstanding. Katie was a really nice lady and she arrived shockingly early but it was no wonder when i saw how much they had to set up. We had spa robes, foot spas, face masks, cucumbers, non alcoholic champagne and girls has manicure, pedicures and french polishes. There were 15 girls all together and everyone had everything done to a great standard in just under 3 hours. For professional treatments, pink decorations and balloons on 15 girls the price was really good. I would definately recommend them, they were fantastic.

I've had a bad experience in the past with a company called flutterbys but little divaz uk were great.

I live in surrey and theyd just done a party in luton and came afterwards to do ours and its was from 8pm onwards. the poor girls had to travel back home to birmingham at that time and she didnt mind at all.

i have nothing bad to say about this company and i hope they go a long way

sorry to disappoint the people trying to bring the company down.

I think u have alot of explaining to do katie melissa brown, but my guess is that u wont be back in here. Prove us wrong, as ur the only one sticking upfor yourself......

    A huge sum,Pinnoccio?

What about a new theme? An orphan Annie party? Children sit around, waiting to be let down, then finish with a rousing chorus of "The sun will come out tommorow",and go home crying, with no party bag..

Not forgetting the kids being forced down the phone to say " we love you miss Hannigan brown!!!

  • Hi
    Yes I am from Flutterbyfacepainting.co.uk

Unfortunately I have the same name Katie!!! :(

But can definitely confirm that I am nothing to do with Little Diva.

I am based purely in Lincolnshire but occasionally cover Nottingham and Leicester also

Well done for sticking upfor yourself. Glad to hear some told u about what she has said
  • well as the saying goes.....if you don't stick up for yourself no-one else (normally) does!!

I just appreciate for whoever it was for getting in touch with me so that I was able to do that - and thank you for all your comments, it's a difficult enough getting started with a new business without someone trying to make it even more so.
