I'm no techie...but I assume that the site works around 'cookies' that its picking up from your selections...so you may need to check that they are 'enabled'...whatever that means.

Excellent spot, especially as I was about to buy a load of train tickets anyway. I had thought £24 for Oxford-Manchester return was a bit of a bargain, but at half price it's even better.

Incidentally I book all my tickets through Scot Rail as they don't charge an extra credit card fee, so it's a site worth remembering even when they don't have this deal on.

they may ask to see it on train if you dont have it you would need to pay the difference. If you have the recipet you got when your purchased railcard you can get a replacment one for £5
Warning: It's not the difference. You would be charged the full fare single for that journey (Unless you have a very lenient guard!)

Many thanks to the original poster. We were travelling to North Wales a couple of times next month which was going to cost about £90 quid in diesel and loads of hassle on the M6 & M1 (includes bank holiday MOnday)and I have managed to book all the tickets we need for £52 and thats 6 passenger journeys !

Every train I try says fully booked. I'm looking to go from Newcastle to London Kings Cross any time next Tuesday/Wednesday and coming back next week on Wednesday/Thursday. I can be hilariously flexibile but no luck :(

I'd like to go first class too...

  • tickets arrived this morning too - speedy quick! ONly problem is the two tinies we travel with may well have to sit on our knees all the way from Grantham to London. Hey-ho, the price we pay for cheap tickets, I suppose!
