Phoned the council who said that they came out on saturday and the furniture wasn't in the garden. Yes it bloody was. So they've messed up twice on finding it. It's now going to a manager so they can get someone out asap.
I feel another complaint coming on...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Well remembered! :T
She did mention something like that, yes. The crack comes straight up from under the windscreen wiper then turns right and runs along the top of the driver side wiper for about 4cm.
Think it has happened when my windscreen wipers malfunctioned... again ... a few days ago - I can only think I dropped the wiper arm back onto the glass too heavily when I took the old blade off to look at it, but I really wasn't heavy handed with it.
Still haven't managed to replace the wiper. The blades I have on are very straight, but the new ones are curved, and they catch on each other as soon as I turn the wipers on. Might just take it to the garage and pay them to sort it out, because it's doing my head in now.
Have a look on Ebay for 'flat blades' they are way cheaper and last ages and are quiet in the soft rain.
