    Afternoon all

My gosh it's cold and windy out there - took DH out in his new chair but cut the walk short as we were both far to cold....I've got a sniffy cold too which doesn't help.

Think I'll light the fire, pop a film on and have a craft afternoon.

They could have done it on the 6th but I'm at work. It's not in my line of sight fortunately, and usually only use it for going to work and back twice a week, but sods law I need to drive quite a long way next weekend.

May look into getting the train if it gets worse before then because I'm a bit scared of it breaking while I'm on the motorway doing [STRIKE]80[/STRIKE] 70. :o

Snaggles, if I'm right and you have a Picasso(?), dont worry about it falling out, or breaking, as they are direct-bonded to the car. that could be why you are having to wait for the repair (?) as they should have a couple of hours curing time once the new screen is in.

Oh I wasn't particularly wanting you to answer the questions now Claire, just suggesting info to have ready for your appointment, so they don't say 'right, go and do some bladder capacity measurements then come back in 2 months (which is what they did to us!).

    Well remembered! :T

She did mention something like that, yes. The crack comes straight up from under the windscreen wiper then turns right and runs along the top of the driver side wiper for about 4cm.

Think it has happened when my windscreen wipers malfunctioned... again ... a few days ago - I can only think I dropped the wiper arm back onto the glass too heavily when I took the old blade off to look at it, but I really wasn't heavy handed with it.

Still haven't managed to replace the wiper. The blades I have on are very straight, but the new ones are curved, and they catch on each other as soon as I turn the wipers on. Might just take it to the garage and pay them to sort it out, because it's doing my head in now.
