Morning, bright and sunny....but flippin cold here in Oxfordcestershire.

Got told off on Wednesday by the Quack for my Cholesterol and BP...so I parked in the Surgery Car Park for free and walked the 1/2 mile in to Town to get fruit and veg. If they told me off for parking there I would have reminded them that they told me to get more excercise and more f&v's!
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

  • Clairewop - a lurker here but just wanted to say that my son wet the bed for a long while. Was referred to a specialist but nothing was found. We tried the alarm, waking him before bed but nothing worked. The Eric website is good for information though. On a more positive note he is now 14 and dry :) so he just grew out of it!

Thanks :) it might just save Claire from having a 10 minute appointment and being told to go away and come back in a month with that info if she already has it to hand.

See, I'm not just all love life traumas and grumpiness. :D :rotfl:

I just choose to talk about the trivial, because it makes life feel normal. :T

Sounds good Butler, what are you doing with your day off?

Glad your son has grown out of it Kazzy. It's so much more common than people realise, and isn't even considered unusual until about age 7, from what I remember.

Pepe, I like your style. :D Do you have to go back about the BP & cholesterol? Going to start coming running with us? :)

  • Yes thats right. It is very distressing for them though and it gets worse as they get older. It was a gradual change, just one day a week dry which would increase to a few then back to every day wet which was very disappointing. I tried not to put any pressure on him and just washed his bedding or provided training pants. It did seem that if he slept over at a friends he would be dry so we were never sure of the reason for him wetting. I am just so happy for him that he is dry and happy for me as the washing mountain has gone!:T

  • Morning all! Hope everyone is good

Got sent home from work last night after I was found lying on the toilet floor being sick lol :( Was not fun... feel a lot better today though but I think I have passed it to my mother lol

Am taking the first major step in becoming DF today and cancelling my car insurance... as gutted as I am I know it needs to be done.

Apart from that just taking my little brother (aged just 2 :o) to a play area I think and trying to relax with my day off

Feel like a tramp though so need to jump in a bath soon...
  • Nice to see some newbies-where's the biscuits???
