NPM - we had this for one of our readings http://poemas-amor.com/poem.php?id=10 which my H found. Never heard it before but thought it was lovely.
The other one was this http://www.whereincity.com/contributions/poems/4383 it's incredibily twee but I do love it :o

Anyway just thought I'd share for inspiration purposes ;)

Tiredmum - good luck with your confrontation tonight. Hugs - I hope it goes well xxx

Thanks Bitsy I will have a look at those;)

i have ( I think) sorted out most of music for ceremony......I keep changing my mind:o

This is what me and Noah are walking in to( and my dad). We will not walk in until the singing bit starts;). It is special to me because of the words and memories of when Pinocchio was Noahs fave film and we had it on about 50 times a day:)

When we are signing the register we are having this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfBn5IJgP0o
This was on my Ipod a lot when I first met OH and the line " I close my eyes and count to ten, and when I open them you`re still here" seemed very relevant as he saw more and more of Noahs behaviour and the hard work involved I was always convinced that one day when I opened my eyes he would be gone:( and was forever amazed that he was always still here:o
    Then this

    then this

For walking out I am thinking of this as am a huge Phil Spector fan:o

 Afternoon all, and Happy Birthday Smokeybabe.

Swift post - have to go into town shortly, got a whole load of errands, culminating with *fanfare* an exciting trip to Morrisons. Thrilling! (NOT!):D

I really do wish I could get out on my own; Mr LW is for some obscure reason being a total @r$e today, and tbh, I wish he was in the office, not w*rking from home.
Dunno what's wrong; if I'm in the doghouse for some reason, I have no idea why.

Highlight of my day has been decluttering a load of candle holders; I hadn't realised I had so many!

I'll keep back a selection, but the ones I really don't need can be polished up, and can go to the bring'n'buy table at the next moot.:)

Car service tomorrow - haven't yet decided if I shall go along or let Mr LW go on his own.

Any road - I hope everyone's having a good Friday; ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today.:o

JACKIE Coco may never be a big fan of other dogs, my 2 stafffies aren't keen but were brought up with my labs and were fine.Just keep her on lead, and try and discourage any barking and snapping by distracting her when another dog approaches :D:DMy dogs best friends are two massive ex police dogs, they bark at them and they just ignore them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • :j:jI've been outside....and spoken to 'real people':j:j first time since Sunday evening!! Can you tell I've had cabin fever?!

I thought I'd try a little wander to the the coastal path. I was fine with that but it was freezing and blowing a gale, even though it was sunny, so I only stayed out for 15mins. I watched the kite surfers, such a fun sport :D Then I thought I'd brave a short trip to the local shop in the car. It's only a minute drive so figured I'd be ok, and I was. I had little chat with the woman there, and bought some magazines, crumpets and orange juice. Then when I came back to the flat I met oneof my neighbours on the stairs and said hello to him too.

Now I'm going to make crumpets and read trashy magazines :D

    Afternoon all~

Wilbur- Congrats on the dwindling overdraft! :T

flutterby- Glad you’re on the mend, just don’t overdo. Crumpets and trashy mags, eh? Those should take care of any lingering effects, lol.

Julie67- Enjoy your ‘snuggly’ weekend, exactly why we are getting said sofa :D

    - sorry to hear the cold is hanging on, here’s hoping all those vits and hm soup help a bit.

Nuttin’ much OS here today other than doing dinner and a quick hoover.

Have spent too much time today searching t’internet for bread tins, looking for a deeper one than you find everywhere (makes nice a nice high loaf that isn’t all ‘bloom’) and have not found any, well one in NZ, but have come close so close may have to do as I’m fed up looking!

The wind is blowing something horrid and has been for most of the afternoon - it’s raining too and cold but not freezing cold thank goodness. We went out sofa hunting again, trying to stay local and finally found ‘the’ one, and in budget in Gorleston which amazed me, lol. Have tried ever so hard to stay away from DFS and the like and it finally paid off.

Back home and about to have a coffee & biccy and watch todays recorded Midsomer. Have ‘The Gentle Art of Domesticity’, which finally came in at the library, to keep me busy this weekend if I can’t find anything else to do. :D

He wanted to say something but I insisted it was strictly set out from the start as he is a bit of a loaded gun when it comes to what he wants to say....he did say he was going to talk about "cats and cats sticky bums":o:eek: and then michael jackson so you can see why he needs strict guidelines:rotfl:

I have had a really bad stressfull week at work, came home and read the above, and it really made me laugh, :rotfl:bless you little Noah, I needed that :D 'cats and cats sticky bums ' :rotfl:

I love your choice of music too, your wedding sounds great, I wish we could all come along :D

Pipkin, you're doing well with your comping, what's the best prize so far..........is it G for gazillion pounds?:)

Definitely the holiday so far for this year, jackie.

Last year, the best prize was £1,200 of garden furniture.

Prior to that, the best prize was a wii and flat screen TV :)
