Send it round to my friend's house....we were there along with another couple for dinner on Saturday night, and she had a lovely huge mint plant in her kitchen...when the ladies retired to the living room the husbands remained mysteriously in the kitchen. My friend came downstairs the next morning to her mint plant completely stripped of all leaves, and an empty bottle of rum...they'd been having a mojito making contest :rotfl: :D:D

will keep in a pot - thanks for the tip and in the kitchen as the last potted mint was in the garden and the puppy ate all the mint leaves off it!!! leaving all the other herbs untouched = clearly likes fresh breathe!!

I look forward to the merged threads xx

steam or boil small pieces of potato [bite size] then when they're warm [not hot] add chopped mint, olive oil and apple or red/white wine vinegar .

Works with any herb. Especially good with chopped garlic and flat leaf parsley. Sage and lemon is a good combination too. Chop up the sage chiffonade stylee, heat some butter/marg in a pan and fry for a few seconds, add a splosh of lemon juice, pour over potatoes.

We put mint in the ground and it died... Not sure what that says about our gardening skills!
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!
  • I make a lovely lentil, bacon and mint soup adapted from a Turkish recipe I was given when on holiday there many years ago. I put it on the long running soup thread but that seems to have dropped way down the board now for some reason.

I think that this may be your recipe.

Do you need any egg to stop it from falling apart?
