was surfing looking for more info on cosmetics. found this site (dated feb 2008) http://www.futurederm.com/2008/02/18/commentary-who-owns-who-in-the-beauty-business/

it lists product ownership. made me wonder about the processes inside the packaging as somewhere earlier on this forum it was mentioned that bourjois / clarins were the same... i don't know. sounded too good to be true. it seems bourjois have same owners as chanel. but most of the big names share a bed with someone it doesn't say much about the products themselves.

would love more current info if you know abt these products and cheaper versions of, please let me know.

    off to try bourjois now...

    Its not bourjois/clarins, its bourjouis/chanel!
  • I have worked at Orchard House freshly squeezed juices I remember the blends varied and that if M & S visited caused a big panic with the supervisors such was life. Also worked at a cardboard box factory Jeyes made bleach for many supermarket chains and Heinz weight watcher range was farmed out to another factory who ordered the Heinz cartons.
It's only rock and roll but I like it.
  • I used to work for aldi and whilst filling up the chiller section with boxes of aldi butter we opened a few cases up and found butter with sainsburys label on it. At the time aldi butter was selling for about 49p and when we checked out the sanisbury's brand it was selling well over what aldi were charging. The butter was packed in identical boxes from the same suppliers.
Also we had a couple of customers who worked for taste promoters and they were convinced that an aldi brand of coffe was acutally nescafe??

Due to lack of pennies, I didn't buy my normal dettol liquid disinfectant, I bought Wilkinsons own verion. It smells and looks exactly the same. I might be wrong but I think it is made by the same people. Wilkinsons own cost me 59p for 500ml, that's a huge saving.

Regarding the garlic kievs, I tried a taster at Costco a few months ago. They must have been catering packs as there were 12 or 16 in a box. Best I've tasted in ages, as you described the Sun Valley ones.
I don't have a big freezer so had to leave them :(
