I use this for cooking - the dark, milk and white melt are pretty good and have fewer additives in compared to more expensive branded chocolates.0 -
furrystomper wrote: »Hi work for a company called premier foods in cambridgeshire who make
tesco and asda value baked beans
tesco and asda normal baked beans
AND branston baked beans.
Right there is not that much different in the value and normal range for supermarkets as all that happens is the sauce that goes into them has a little more water in the value ones there is not many more beans in the standard can just a couple of grams so its same sauce and beans just a different can and label. lol
But as for branston they are done with there own sauce thats alot thicker, and a different bean too that are larger.
The beans ARE beans whatever tin they're in, is proven sort of correct, as we see here!!
BUT...as it is generally the SAUCES & spices, which make the product different ( I hate the Branston ones!!) it's such a shame to ruin a perfectly good bean, by saving a few pennies, to water the important ingredient, down!! So it's own label, standard range, or Heinz if they are on offer, for me!!
& if you check Premier foods website, you'll be surprised at just how many brands they own, now!
Wasn't it a couple of guys from Cadburys, that took over the company, as a manageent buyout & transformed it?

Rimmel make the MissSporty range of makeup
It comes from the same factory, to place an order (in retail) you ring the same number.
Only difference is MissSporty is aimed at under18's and every piece is less than £2 i think it is now.
Check out the details though.
Collection 2000 comes from same factory as MaxFactor I believe - no experience
Bourjois is Channel - Asked a rep for Bourjois who confirmed.
Bourjois and Revlon makeup are also linked somehow - never did work that one out though
Benefit is made by Chanel0 -
Does Lidl or Aldi do a version of those Viscount round orange coloured paper biscuits ? I see the mint ones in some supermarkets like Farmfoods but not the orange ones.
My 99p shop had the orange ones a few weeks ago but I went there yesterday and they've closed down.0 -

further to the post on marks and spencers cleanser, i have bought this , i got the calming cleanser, £2.50 for a bottle, it is indeed very like clinique cleanser. i usually buy clinique comforting cleanser and it smells very similar. i usually pay around £14 for a tube so it must be worth a go if anyone else uses this, the clinique is more of a cream so thicker but the instructions are the same and i have had no adverse reaction so far.0
