    Alot of aircons have climate control now, even via remote controls.

    These typical condenser aircons do reduce room tempretures just not always as fast as many office ceiling built ones which are probably attached to water mains etc, I highly recommend getting a 12000 btu one as minimum though.

    I got a Delonghi CF 208 portable air conditioner from Bargain Crazy back in Feb when it was freezing.They had it on at £138 in the price plunge section,but I managed to use a 20% code to get it for around £116 delivered.In argos ect around 300 quid.
    It's a good unit.

    If you own a fan place some ice in front of it and turn it on

    This is all the Dixons one does

    If you require a professionally installed AC unit then the average cost would be about £1,000
    Only time will tell if I am right or they are wrong
