When a tailgater is particularly annoying me I just slow right down in the bends and speed back up to the speed limits on the straights lol.

I hate tailgaters, but I also hate people who do that kind of thing. It's just pointless. If someone cleraly wants to go faster than you, and wants to overtake, slow down and let them do it. It doesn't slow your jorney any, but it helps them and stops both of you getting stressed, and possibly causing an accident.

After all, you have no idea why that person is in a hurry - a sick child at home, a wife about to give birth, a plane to catch. Could be anything. Any driver who deliberately drives dangerously or makes someone else stressed is driving badly, imo. Just chill

Well if I saw a burning wreck behind me, I wouldn't lose any sleep ;)

Moral of the story is, if you see a black mr2 in front, don't get within 50m or less, or you're favourite topping might be heading your way.

I'd have to get within 50m of it. How else would I pass it? And I aint ever seen a pizza slice that accelerates.

These tactics would normally make me wonder about the confidence of the driver in front with cornering and general decision making.

I was approaching a familiar and very deep pothole. A little swerve to the left, as usual, would avoid it. At the last second this is what I did. Half a second later I looked into my rear view mirror to enjoy the spectacle of The Tailgater CRASH VERY HARD INDEED down into the pothole, water splashing everywhere.

Had half an eaten sloppy pizza on passenger seat which wasn't that nice. I think you can see where I'm going with this.

Made sure no one around, and just about to join A38 at markeaton round about, picked it up and lobbed out the car, straight on to their windscreen, and then floored it in to the distance.

Silly? Yes. Dangerous? Probably. Hillarious? you bet!

the standard of driving here is just as dangerous and thoughtless as tailgaters. if you speed up on straights and slow down on bends to delibaratly annoy another driver your an !!!!!.
if you throw missiles at me or my vehicle then your an !!!!!,and expect to find out how much of an !!!!! at the next junction/tailback/traffic lights.

would it not be easier to mind your own buisness maintain your current speed and driving style and allow obviously faster vehicles to pass you? after all your not the police.

I do 1 of two things either hit the hazzard lights or pull over let them past both solve the prob but sadly not always to the point I did have to have a quite word with one guy when I he parked near me - obviously he did not seem the think he was putting both of us in danger if I had to break suddenly so I called the number on the van that asks if he is driving safely -
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
