Yes do a complete reinstall, you will not get it anywhere close to 'good as new' using system restores and CC cleaner as you are above... the registry will be all over the place

Ive been reading up about the restore process for this vaio and I'm quite confused mainly about this partition thing. I will have the choices I posted earlier but I don't know which is the best one to choose. Would it be best to do c drive or complete system and if so which way is best the f10 way which I have now found is mentioned on vaio site or the recovery discs way if they are going to work. Bit concerned about it all actually as I've never done a system restore before on any pc. Is the f10 way any better than the disc way? it does say f10 is quicker so if they do the same job would it be better to do that.

I am not sure what happens with the partition and if the size of the available drive will be the same as first purchased after recovery. I'm not clear on the differences just c drive recovery or full system has on this partition thing?
It might sound crazy to some but because I'm unsure on this I'm thinking will one of these choices of recovery take up room that has before been the partition recovery so it might make hardrive useage smaller afterwards or perhaps recover but wipe out the recovery partition so a recovery cant be done by f10 anymore afterwards and only with recovery discs?

What I mean is after say doing whichever of these ways will the f10 recovery partition still be there for future use if its needed?

It also says you can create a partition during recovery process but this is so confusing because I'm not sure if that would be an extra partition to the f10 recovery one or not. I am hoping when its restored it will be with a built in recovery partition just as it was before is this right?

If I'm going to try this I hope there wont be any problems during process as it seems that others have had problems using both f10 and the recovery disc ways.

Sorry for babbling on but to me its completely new
    Thanx

you want to reinstall to the C drive
if you use the vio recovery set up this is where it will restore to
dont worry about creating partitions, just use C as it stands

Why is it better to just restore the c drive rather than complete system?

I'm thinking of doing it the f10 way as its quicker

I don't really understand if they are both the complete system why you have a choice of to restore c drive or restore complete system. There must be some difference I just want to choose the right one for this

i dont see any difference,a complete recovery using the vaio discs will put all the files on the C drive inc programs
it wont do anything to any other partitions

Comodo ~ its unclear exactly what youve done so you might not have done anything wrong with that
You SHOULD have allowed EVERYTHING (Personally I would switch off its DEFENSE mode though)
