She doesn't usually check her phone till she finishes work so she may ask tomorrow. I really hope we can get something worked out. I can't really imagine her not being there for me, we've been friends since nursery and it'll just be wrong if she's not there to see me get married! She's going to be bunking with my other friend who I've known for about as long and if one can't go the other won't as they don't want to be billy no mates, which I understand.

Hi Birdie, I've just caught up. Is it a bit naughty but I would be wary of asking for the days off in case they won't let her ... what if she then 'got sick' on those days that she asked to have off, might seem a bt suspect?

Total nightmare about the flights though - definitely get your pen out!

Honestly, that's awful Birdie. What's happened at TC that all the flights have been cancelled? Aren't they taking anyone away over the half term break?

Whilst normally I'd agree Tete my friend has the most annoying conscience ever, she wouldn't enjoy herself knowing that she'd lied and she'd probably dob herself in and get in more trouble!

Depends how nice her head teacher is. My mums head is giving her the one day off for my wedding, but one of our friends head refused someone the day off to go to their own brothers wedding, so shes not asking just going to be poorly that day!

It looks like they're only doing flights every other week so they're not doing 1 week holidays, luckily we're going in the 'right' week.

Friend has just text me to say that she definitely can't get time off work to come. I've been looking all over this afternoon for alternative holiday companies but I'm finding nothing. Looks like plenty of his friends will be there and none of mine!:(:(:(

A very sad, 'distressed Bride' letter shall be penned!

In happier news OH has just text me to say that another one of his friends has booked for 2 weeks which is great!

I'd be spitting blood tbh, if you'd known none of your friends would be able to come I doubt you'd have booked this holiday, you'd have gone somewhere more accessible.
