Worst OS chore?

I must be the only person in the Western world who does not own a microwave and refuses to get one! Somehow, it feels like it is not real cooking! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

I thought the OS way with pans was to leave them overnight upside down on the lawn????
Maybe I dreamt that!!?? :rotfl:
Seems as if the oven is the winner so far - sort of best friend, worst enemy sort of thing!
Also what's the lentil pasty? Have you got a recipe pleeeaaasee x I t sounds yummy (and cheap!) xBon App's Scraps!MFb40 # 130 -

What's your worst OS job or chore?
Norman x
Strangely enough, I rather enjoy demolishing chicken carcasses - for me the satisfaction outweighs the yuk factor. The worst bit for me is having the cat underfoot begging for chicken scraps!
My least favourite job (although it's not specific to OS) is emptying the bin - mine is too tall for me to get the bag out easily and I struggle every time.
For everyone who hates cleaning the oven, I can recommend a product called Oven Mate, sold by Lakeland and probably other places too. You brush it on, leave it for half an hour or so, then wipe it off and all the nasty stuff comes with it - job done! I haven't loathed cleaning the oven nearly so much since I bought a bottle.Back after a very long break!0 -
No. Got it. Plughole cleaning _pale_

If I left my pans on the lawn here, they wouldn't be there when I went back :rotfl:
I managed to get rid of an old sofa by leaving it in the garden - 2 hours and it had gone. If I stick a free to good home sign, nobody takes it though - maybe it ruins the fun?! :rotfl:0 -
I've just picked the chicken just before I read this, with 3 cats and a dalmatian under my feet! hehe
My worst job ever and it gets left for ages is pairing socks!! I hate it! I have a big basket in my room and all the socks get thrown in there until we more or less run out and I HAVE to do it! lolStarting my DMP Journey.0 -
Ironing ; I prefer to stick the clothes in the drier instead . But I think probablyhas more to do with the fact I prefer to put things in drawers instead of hanging them in a wardrobe , only for you to take them down again when you want to wear them .Ebay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin

I love my Venetian Blinds BUT i loath cleaning them. Trouble is that I hate it soooo much that I leave them too long and make an even bigger job of it.
Also hate cleaning the oven - my theory is that it is only me who sees (uses) it . . .
Oh . . . I also hate having to clean behind furniture. I always say "tomorrow". Tomorrow never comes . . . . !!!!0 -
Oooh, mine's definately dusting! I wind up sneezing for about 3 days afterwards. And, as an escaped Australian, cleaning ceiling fans when they got covered with carp is certainly not something I miss.
