Can i have a list?:p
Emptying cat litter {don't have to do it at mo as pregnant!} - also feeding cat and cleaning his bowls - cat food just stinks and makes me gag.
Cleaning up sides after cooking. The whole chucking peelings away, putting things back in cupboards and fridge, puttings thing in sink to wash just to clean them!
Mopping floors
Putting bedding back on the bed
Cleaning the loo
Cleaning out the deep fat fryer
Cleaning inside of the oven
Washing the pots after baking or after making a roast.0 -
Putting the ironing away I don't know why but it seems so time consuming after all the effort of doing it.
Strangely enough I don't mind actually iroing it.
I pay to a company to get my oven cleaned once a year £36.00, and its worth every penny,I can't bend my joints down far enough to do it myself anyway.I have a window cleaner who does the 'outsides' once a month for £6.00 another 'well worth it' expence.I don't mind doing the insides though, but usually do them if I am doing a good 'room bottoming out' I have a job washing floors because of bending so its worth paying my DGS who is always broke some cash to do it .it helps him out as well as it pays for his fishing trips.basically I do what I can and what I can't either doesn't get done or I pay someone to do it.My dd bless her will come and change the sheets and duvet covers for me weekly .She washes and dries them and I iron them.0 -
Yep, all of it.
Most of all hate putting all the 'tat' away that everyone leaves all over the house. Hair clips, discarded socks, junk mail, pens, ties, earrings, cups, magazines......yada yada.
Gets me in a bad mood sometimes and I feel like being spiteful and chucking it all in the bin.0 -
Ironing and cleaning the oven0

All of it!!! Housework is a pain in the a$$! trouble is, if its not done everyone notices - when it is no-one comments! I do the minimum necessary to keep me out of trouble! and I LOVE time saving hints and tips (picked up loads on here).
I do love to cook though - good thing as otherwise OH would probably have left years ago!
but the thing i REALLY really really hate - is cleaning the oven! closely followed by defrosting our ancient freezer! (I even used my embossing heat gun to melt the ice one day - but one word of advice -DONT point it at plastic parts - it melts them!)0 -

I was reading through to see if anyone else had my pet hate!
I could iron all day, but hate putting it away. Today I have had to put piles of it away and only did that because stepdaughter is coming tonight and will need to get into her bed:rotfl:whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

LOL, I don't iron I FOLD, but I do hate putting it away. OH says it's just like filing really and that made me feel a bit better about it, but it's one of the jobs I can easily put off till it's desperate!0 -

I deal with it by not ironing anything else (nothing else needs it really tbh), and having a horrible hour on a Sunday night when I force myself to iron enough shirts for the upcoming week ...... /QUOTE]
I'd rather iron than clean the toilet - but I have 2 DSs & an DH who seem to be cross eyed ....
I iron on Sundays, it's a religious experience: DH says I bend over the board praying - well, I mutter "oh God" a lotI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I hate all of it, big time. Seriously considering getting a regular cleaner, as I am always ashamed of the mess if someone drops by on short notice! Have had cleaners in once before when we had people coming round, and they did an amazing amount in a short time - had 2 cleaners for an hour and a half, and the place was cleaner than it has been in years! The cost is a bit offputting though...Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I don't like any housework so I try and keep it to a minimum.
All shoes are taken off at the front door to prevent floors from getting dirty, I never fry anything because I hate cleaning the hob (people think I'm into healthy eating but it's just laziness) and I straighten clothes out on the line and fold when dry to prevent ironing.
The thing I can't get out of though and I hate, is hanging out socks on the line. When I do a dark wash about 40% of it is socks and they take forever to hang out.
I don't like cleaning windows either - not the actual job but the results, I'm just not very good at it. They may look alright at the time but then the first sunny day shows up all the streaks.0
