Hi, I have loved reading your diary - sorry I have been lurking on your diary and others for ages but now going to start my own diary. I have been fighting a battle with the dreaded Ll**ds for years and have this week gone and closed my account and received back the great sum of £1.39!! I was looking forward to telling them exactly why I was closing my account including the horrendous interest charges and c**king up my internet banking and security on numerous occasions but all they said was ok and closed it!

I am now attacking A &L and getting rid of my overdraft - they have just doubled the max interest charge from £5 to £10 per month and I am sure they didn't tell me. Sorry to hijack. Well done with all your payments and with your positivity.:T

    Hi Bailey

Have just checked your sig and you are so close to be debt free! You must be so excited?

I can't believe Lloyds denied you the opportunity of telling them what you thought of them! I think when I am finally able to close my current account I will make an appointment with the Manager so I can tell them in person!

I have put in £225.57 worth of fuel so far this month, I am hoping what I have in the tank will last till pay day. That amount is ridiculous :(

Blinkin ek Woo that's a lot of fuel! Rubbish when you know a newer eco friendly car would use 1/2 as much yet think on the brightside, pre lightbulb moment you may have thought the same, got one on finance and actually be spending more a month xx
