Well done on the payment
Have you got a 2010 round-up or plan for 2011?Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
I am doing my round up for 2010 now as I have set all my payments to leave my account on Friday when I get paid, once these payments go I will be sub £11k :j
I entered January 2010 owing £17,510.94 and finish this year owing £10,798.68 - so in 12 months I have managed to clear £6,712.26 - a pretty poor effort when I look at it like that!
Lloyds is now £3,694.17 and the goal is to clear this by July 2011 at the latest, the sooner the better though!
So can I clear £10,798.68 in 12 months? Doubtful, but I'm gonna give it a bloody good go
Finally, thank you so much to all of you for listening to me winge and moan and for providing the odd kick up the bum when needed. Without you this would be a miserable journey, when its actually been quite fun!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
Barclays: £2,928.34 Lloyds: £2,499.60
MBNA: £3,788.99 Overdraft: £1,900.00 Mum: £1,738.00

Not poor at all - very well done! :T
Think progress is slower to begin with as you try and get your finances in order and get a handle on the interest.
So you should fly through 2011! :jDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

I think you will definitely feel the difference once the Lloyds CC is gone, as the other's a fairly reasonable rates.
You never know as well, in a few months time you may be able to get a 0% card as well xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Its a great effort Becs - £559.35 per month, and that doesnt take into account any interest. I think you should be more than proud of yourself, and as others ahve said, progress will be quicker with the lower rates of interest etc.

Just been trawling the internet, looking at quotes, sad I know, and found your diary title Woo! I'm probably a bit dense but I didn't realise it was a Confucius quote.
And then right underneath it I found this one:
It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop
Think that's a good one for all of us when we all get frustrated by progress!Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0
