Hi woowoo - just catching up whilst on train on way in to office - been hellish journey in so far but not really a surprise - nothing works with the hint of snow!

I know you wanted snow but I'm glad it's not too bad - I'm worried my boy won't make it back from Bristol for Xmas if it's too bad!

    When is he heading home?

I think were due snow this afternoon. I'm now thinking I don't want too much in case the airport closes and I can't go boarding!

Not sure - he's not great at making plans ahead of schedule! He is more of a "hmmm, what shall I do today? I know, I'll wander up to train station, not tell anyone I'm coming and pitch up at mum's in the hope she might be at home". Maybe he's more like me than I thought...

    Hi Happy

Close the card down and get rid of it! Like you said you will only fritter it away and once its done you will find a way to survive.

Just think how exciting it will be to close the account down :)

i agree with Woowoo - it might be a tough month but you'll manage - and then its gone and done with.

Dont do it if it mens you cant buy even the most basic provisions to fee your famioly, but if you have to get by on beans on toast for a few days it will be so worth it... whilst you wouldnt want to do it for long, I bet you could be very inventive on feeding the family on next to nothing for a few days...
