Well done on not spending the emergency tenner! I can't take hangovers anymore, they ruin my whole weekend and make me so ill.....I haven't got hammered for ages because of it!
Your shoes on the table thing reminded me of a funny story (I'll be careful how I word some of this).
A few years ago, in my young, free, single (and wild) days, my best friend and I used to always go out and end up going back to the house where her ex boyfriend lived. They had this HUGE place where he shared with a bloke I *ahem* got to know quite well and two other guys. One night we went out dressed an Angels for another friends birthday and ended up meeting up with the lads and going back to their place. We woke up in the morning alone...in their house with a message on the white board saying 'gone to football - make yourselves at home but don't feed the cat!' :rotfl:. We did make ourselves at home, had brekkie, watched TV (this felt so odd!) all in our scragged angel outfits. Once we had sobered up we started wondering how the hell we were going to get home! There was no way we could walk - too far and not in last nights get up, not enough money for a taxi and no lads to give us a lift, Eek!
I ended up having to phone my mum, who is fortunately very cool about these things. She turns up and I'm trying to find my sequin heels.....found one....where in gods name is the other?!?!??! We were going through cupboards, looking in the bin, couldn't find the damn thing - THEY HID IT . Mum lives on a busy road and you can't park outside her house so we had to walk down a main road in fancy dress, last nights make up, me with no shoes on and my mate with her skirt barely covering her backside (perfectly acceptable on a night out but at NO other time!) and fake tan streaks all down her legs, yes we felt quite shamed.
I never got my shoe back.......:rotfl:
Still makes me giggle in an embarassed kind of way :A

Oh the walk of shame Jody, that did make me laugh! I'm confused about the don't feed the cat part of the message, how random!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

You didn't see the size of this cat!!!! :rotfl:
We saw it, looked at each other and were like don't feed the cat!?! Then it appeared from nowhere and it was mahoosive!
I've had worse walks of shame but I'll save that for another time

Now I'm thinking about it...I think we did feed the cat before we saw the message...it was a huge fluffy persian type thing!
I'm sure they eventually 'fessed up to locking it in one of the bedrooms, I was gutted because they were awesome shoes too!

Have just brought my best friends Christmas Present, a Hugo Boss Orange perfume set, reduced from £60 to £29.50! And done through Quidco, so should get some cashback. It was from Boots, so having it delivered to the local store so no delivery charge either
Only trouble is I don't actually have this £29.50, whoops! The offer was only on for a week, so didn't want to miss out on it. It will all be fine if the money from the mobile sales come through ok, as I will only be £6.50 short then.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
