I have just done the Tesco shop on line, took 2 hours! As it was the first time I had done online shop with Tesco, I got £10 off and £5 cashback through Quidco
I couldn't find a free delivery voucher though, where do you get these from?
It was nice to see what the cost was instead of trying to guess the amount.Well done on the extra payments Woo!:)
I've heard that some people work out what they're gonna buy using the online shop so they know how much it comes to but then print it out and use it as a list so they don't have to pay the delivery charge if that makes sense? x
I shop online, I don't mind paying the delivery charge when I consider how long it would take me to shop and how many times I would move the shopping (drive to shop, walk round with trolley, unload onto checkout, reload to trolley, unload to car, drive home, unload and put away)! If you book far enough in advance you can usually get quite a cheap delivery charge. I only buy what I plan to buy and I know what the cost will be too. Recently, I've had the delivery charge refunded because items have been missing, to be fair they are usually excellent but there's never a problem being refunded if something is wrong.0 -
I think I might give it another go next week Rum, it will feel like one less chore per week, and I can do it whilst watching my soaps!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Good plan! It does get quicker, if you use Tesco all your favourites are stored and if you can find some free vouchers for delivery and money off it's probably cheape than going to the shop!
Have you had a good day?
I watched Emmerdale last week (father in law still here and likes it so I had to keep him company), very exciting but big gaps.. I'm gradually working out what's been happening though!0 -
Some people never seem to pay the delivery charge, but I find it impossible to find a voucher?
I had to picture my local Tesco's in my head as I did it so I could remember what I wanted to buy lol!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

This money saving is helping me get better organised, no mean feat considering I'm a spectrum dweller! I keep a list in the kitchen and add to it as we run out of things and I've been trying to meal plan - apart from tonight obviously!:o0

Good evening my lovely....
Must be a case of great minds think alike as I also did my Tesco shop online last night and it has just been delivered! I couldn't get any codes to work so resigned myself to paying £3.50 but as RP says...I would rather pay that than go after work, have to walk round for ages, lug it to the car then up the stairs...... Mine didn't take that long as I had already written down roughly what I needed then I used the favourites too!
Big pat on the back for Lloyds payment and the Thorntons BOGOF sounds great....I'm hoping I can come across something similar with Hotel Chocolat before Xmas!

I think I'm going to stick with the online shopping as it's great to see what I'm spending and I really hate doing it after work on a Friday, it puts me in a big grump!
I've looked at Hotel Chocolat before but never purchased as it's sooo expensive!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
