edited 3 December 2010 at 9:24AM in It's gone, but was it any good?
EDIT: As so many of us lovely MSEers have been doing this they've suspended the offer until the end of Jan 2011 whilst they catch up and make more boxes! Below is the updated information for those that want to try later on...

Never realised when I first posted this it'd be so popular!

My husband spotted this deal on TV! By signing up to their tasting club you get a fairly big box of chocolates (around 34 I reckon), some goodies (depending on what link you go for) for £6.95 delivered (usually £17.00)! The box would make a lovely christmas present I reckon, for those into their posh chocs!

If you go through the TV offer link you pay once you've received your chocolates as they include a bill and info on how to pay and how to cancel your trial membership (this is what hubby did with no problems by ringing up but it can also be done online through 'manage my membership). Going through the TV offer link gives you the liquid hot chocolate (about 4 mugs worth) and a chocolate slab.

If you go through Quidco or Topcashback (search 'tasting club' NOT 'hotel chocolat') you have to pay up front but you get £5 cashback, unless you're a new member to Topcashback where you'll get over £6 making the chocs 39p (!), it also takes you to the £6.95 offer, except you get the cashback too. With this offer you should get some chocolate drops and some recipe cards.

If you don't use Quidco then this is the link OH used (we've only just got Quidco)
www/thetastingclub/co/uk/tvoffer (obviously replace /'s with .'s!)

(getting frustrated that I'm still not allowed to post links!!)

here's the link - hopefully I'll be allowed to post it now!

edit: nope, too new to be allowed to post links. Try replacing the slashes with dots and you should be on your way :)

had these before, if you went via quidco you got a load of cashback so it made them free.

can't wait to try my liquid chocolate but also don't want to open it at the same time!! Might make myself a mini one to try :)

Hubby polished off the chocolate slab, despite claiming he'd bought it all for me!!!

Thanks for the heads up, OP - I'm going to save these until Christmas!

' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".
  • The liquid chocolate would be perfect for some (o)(o) action lol

It's not liquid when you get it - more like grated chocolate - could still be fun though!!!!:j

Is it easy to cancel? Someone on the other thread said they were charged full price after cancellation, and still had no chocs!
