I just waited in a massive queue in the bank to pay in £1.84! I had the hottest guy stood next to me and could of died when it was my turn and had to say 'can I pay in £1.84 please'!

Still that £1.84 has now been sent to Lloyds!

well done for getting sub £12k i'm sure, knowing you and your determination, that you will surely make the 10999 for your December pay day. I'm going to work out when i get home what my total will be on that payday as we're running so close to each other debt wise at the moment.
OH's payday here today so i can finally finalise this months numbers and more importantly update my signature.

Thanks Lemon Tree, when do you think your debt free date will be? Would be great if you were Dec 2011 as well x

OMG it is finally payday, that seriously was the longest month on earth!

    I am now sub £12k :j

Today I have paid off £515.13, after interest.

    Total outstanding balance: £11,949.59

I have now cleared over 50% of my Lloyds CC and this is below £5k: £4,787.81.

The next goal is to get to £10,999.99 on Decembers payday, I currently have a shortfall of £230.59 to find to achieve this.

Ace work Woo! You must be very pleased, how much lower is the interest now?

    Hi Rum

I won't know until the 13th of the month, this time it was £86.48, and I have cleared about £1300 since the last statement, so hope it drops to the £70's!

ok, i've updated the bank accounts, and sorted out OH's, so my balance is now £11,398!
Woo, originally my target DFD was Dec 2011, i think my very original one was somewhere in the 2013's. I have worked out that i should be debt free as of Sept 2011. There's only one problem though..... Norbert the NR loan finishes April (16mths early) and then the plan was to divert all the money to my loan from the bank of mum and dad. Here's the problem.... they don't want paying back early! cue grrrrrry moment because i really want to reach my DFD. My back up plan is to double what i currently pay them, and then overpay my mortgage by the max monthly amount £500 and then put the rest in savings which will be to offset the parents loan OR to cover legal fees if we are able to buy a new house. I can understand why they don't want the money back early but i really really want to achieve something. After 4 and 1/2 years and what will be almost another 6mths i want the chance to get rid of the burden round my neck.

sorry i seem to be full of essays today.

herewego are you really planning on clearing £35k by Dec 2011???? OMG if you are! you certainly shouldn't need a blue unhappy face if that's the case. I think it's amazing if you can do that.
