I wish I could just fast forward to my debt free date - I know you shouldn't wish your life away, but I feel like I'm just waiting for my 'real' life to begin.
I also wish that someone at work hadn't made such yummy cakes - today I have eaten two pieces of pavlova and a slice of tiramisu, delicious though!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Congratulations Woowoo!!
Fantastic work. I know what you mean about fast forwarding to the debt free date. New life awaits. Lady at work who sits next to me is just going about buying her first house, I'm pining for one.
Sweat bands on and sing a one, two three, four 'keep on runnin.....' Sorry I don't know the rest of the words.

Here, here! We are going to be so loaded, they'll be calling us begging to have the privaledge of having our savings in one of their accounts.
Picture this 'Hi Thrifty this is the bank of blah, blah, blah, we notice you have a substantial amount of cash and wanted to discuss your options as to investing it'
'Can you offer me 10% interest?, No? Bye, bye'
It's going to be awesome. We're wiser in our 30s. Oh yes we are!!

Am a bit cross, I joined the National Trust last Aug and they never took the £16, I rang them at the time to tell them and they assured me they had - I do admit I was pleased at the thought of a freebie.
Anyway today I have received a letter saying they have made an error and will be taking the money in May.
I cannot afford this money now, I'm living off £10 a week for goodness sake.
Have just texted my sister to ask for it for my 30th birthday present, which just sucks to be honest.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

You could cancel the DD and pay them in pennies as you find them
Make it as difficult for them as paying it all as once is for you.
