House buying, selling and renting board V this one. Looks like activity is picking up

Just looked at the board stats.

391 were looking at the buying and selling board

25 viewing this.

The amount viewing the buying and selling board is the highest I have seen, the highest last year I saw was around 225.

Mind you it looks like we are up at least 1 or 2. :)

Is this indicative of the market becoming more active again?

So why an increase in users/viewers? (activity can be negative or positive, forced sales or buying because you want to/can)

he's from Northern Ireland and his affordability is obviously different
  • Lots and lots of letting questions over there, not so many sales questions. It definitely reflects my personal experience of the market-lettings picking up rapidly, sales not so good.
Scar tissue that I wish you saw, sarcastic mister know it all, close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause with the birds I'll share this lonely view.

Looking at the front page it seems to be about 50-50.

Does the MSE viewing and buying board really reflect the housing market?

    Are you for real?

    LOL. No!

There are 401 viewing the debt free wannabe board at the moment, and 49 the bankruptcy board.

I will check later on to see if the numbers have gone down, that way, we can tell there is less debt out there. :rotfl:

It would be odd if things weren't picking up a bit, given the time of year, but record numbers looking could mean anxiety as well as positivity. After all, people don't often go on the other channel to relate or read totally positive experiences.

I'm hardly up to speed now, but I'm seeing a few places coming on that disappeared for a time at the end of last year. In a couple of cases they're £40k or so down, which could be interpreted in a number of ways. That kind of reduction, if mirrored by others who've stuck around over a year, might make the market more exciting, I guess.

Rather a lot of waffle I'm afraid! :o
