Welcome home Rusty :), your camping trip sounds a bit like a Famous Five adventure, bet the kiddies loved it! Sorry to hear your bad news :( but well done to your OH :T

Rusty - I agree with Rainmac about Famous Five, did you have lashings of Ginger Beer? Can't remember what the biscuits were I was more a Secret Seven girl! Glad you enjoyed it but sorry to hear your news re family. Super news though about OH especially in current climate, is there any chance of his job moving closer to home though?

Rainmac - Thanks you are a star. I wondered about doing a nappy cake for my friend who is due to have her baby today by C-Section. What do you tend to use for the outer a towel or blanket and where is the best place for decent quality at sensible price. I have B&M bargains, Quality Save (like Home Bargains), Wilkinsons, Asda etc.

Melissa - Lilac/Purple sounds great for challenege, will have to have a look see this afternoon and hopefully incoporate it into one of the many I need to do.

Thanks for the welcome home! I have to admit I feel great now I have had a bit of a break! No routine and stuff like that has done me good, booked into another campsite for 2 weeks so looking forward to that! Then a few weeks later oh is having a week off ... No Ginger beer, just lots of meats and no carbs as we are still dieting, OH has lost just under 4 stone in 8 weeks and I am 2 llb short of 2 stone in 4 but will update myother blog later on ...

Still no work in this area or even tee side for oh so working away is still a problem but worth it cause at least he still has a job!

Time to go and get little lady ... Sorry she is a BIG girl as she keeps telling me! From nursery! Take care ladies xx

Jo_Rourke, I can't see your card from the link? I'd love to see it if someone can help me find it? A challenge is when someone sets a 'theme' and people join in making things that fit the theme. The challenges we run on here are just for fun and each one lasts for 2 weeks. Anyone can enter, you just need to leave a pic or a link to your card on the thread so we can see what you've done. Does that make sense?

Thank you RainMac! The challenges sound really fun! Once I get a little better at the old cardmaking I think I will enter! I think I have fixed the link now :o My computer skills also leave a lot to be desired!

Rusty is the pro when it comes to nappy cake making but I tend to use fleece blankets or hooded towels from Asda or Matalan ;)

Fab cards Jo, do you have the cardmaking bug now?

Definitely!! It also doesn't help that I am a little magpie, so I find all the pretty paper and sparkly glitter bits irresistible! :j I am also learning how to sew at the moment so it is craft central in our house....hubby is thrilled, as you can imagine :rotfl:

Well I'm a bit disappointed - the postman has been and all he brought me was my Tim Holtz blender tool!!!

Jo_Rourke - your card is fab - I love the bow at the top of the present!!!

Rusty - I'm glad you liked your bits - I hope there was enough green in there for you. Sounds like you had a great weekend away - it sounds lovely - apart from the broken air bed! Sorry to hear about your bad news like you said though at least they're not suffering now. On a lighter note - congratulations to your OH - I bet he is thrilled! Congratulations on your weight loss too - mine has slowed down a bit - I'm getting a bit demoralised with it all!!!!
