    Evening All

Just caught up on the 10 pages missed/not properly read. I've made notes and will post later as need to sort children just wanted to quickly give some info re Letraset which PONR, WBR, Gemm, TomsMom & The Wife may find useful.

I too couldn't get on the site due to security certficate and so decided to try putting in .com instead of.co.uk and this worked. I wanted some promarker wallets and on both the Design and Manga sections of the site these are 8.50 exc vat. However if you go on the craft section they are 5.77 exc vat (6.78 inc approx.) they don't seem to have the 20% off and the code only gives 10p off total but seem a great price. I ordered 3 plus some adhesive sheets out of the sale section and p&p is free so rather pleased. Read somewhere that they rotate which 15 colours have the 15% off to bring them down to £1.44 which is why prices varied.

Hope this helps some of you and catch up soon.

Thanks Tired Mom - I ordered 2 of the wallets last week at that price, but thought I'd order somemore using the 10% off code they sent me. Hopefully they'll get back to me tomorrow re the code only giving 10p and I'll be able to order some more wallets. I'm off to make a card - well hopefully! DS is playing up at bedtime atm and I seem to be running up and down the stairs til almost 10pm -grrr.

Had a really nice end to a carp day yesterday, when I found out I'd made the top 5 over at Crafty Cardmakers and also managed to get into the Crafty Ribbons challenge (amazed to have got selected as I didn't see the email from them til about 5pm and almost didn't bother applying). I've never done one for them before, so not sure what to expect, but have ideas running through my head, just hope I don't make a complete a*** of things.

I got into the crafty ribbons challenge to I've done a few of these now and usually you get a nice selection of ribbons and you just need to post them 2 or more projects using the ribbon.

Well done Rainmac and Scattyjan on your wins.:j
  • :T:T:T Huge congrats to all the winners - so many of you, I'm losing track :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now 'fess-up you guys - it's an MSE stealth attack to take over the card-crafting world, isn't it :rotfl:

 Thrifty - How are you?

Getting there Marg - thanks for asking. The anti-d's are definitely starting to kick in now (had to cut back again for a while & start to increase again slowly because of side effects) but fingers crossed I think we've cracked it :T. In fact, we must have cracked it because drum-roll.... I actually coloured in some images today - woo hoo :T. I might even have some cards to blog soon :o.

Congrats again to our winners, Thriftyxxx

Evening ladies - congrats to all the well deserving winners on here.

There is some lovely DT work going on out there from you all too - soooo talented!

I've a small plea- I'm trying to track down some cow print backing paper. I thought I'd find something straight away online but am a bit stumped. DOn't want to pay as it's just to cover a notebook because I found a couple of cow pencils today!

I'm also a bit corss with myself as I got some football pencils in the post to go with some notebooks - and now I can't find them! Grrr

    Evening all

Louby - Glad to see your LO is feeling better. How did your craft fair go or have you not done it yet?

Rainmac - Thanks for links to the great freebies. Could I please say yes please to a few of the Lili of the Valley baby stamp, they are soo cute. Think you were off to Cafe Rouge today for meal, hope it was yummy. Good news re family babies.

Nici - Do you have a blog?

TomsMom - Mmmmm home grown strawberries. Which promarkers are you after as I think I have a couple of duplicates?

Scatty - Hope you had a lovely time with your grandaughter, how old is she?

CGCockcroft - You got some great bargains there.

Padster - Thanks for great freebies on that link, there are some smashing ones.

Rusty - Hope you enjoyed your weekend away, you certainly had the weather for camping.

Gemm - Glad to see that you are feeling a bit perkier.

CraftyGranny - Will look out for Kaitlyns package and let you know, thank you.

Thrifty - That's great news re your meds.

Well done to all the winners on here of which there have been a few.

Thank you for all the kind words re DS. We are working through it and have finally got him back into his bed last night and tonight but only if one of us will stay with him until he is asleep. I have a meeting with the Junior school head on Wednesday so hopefully we can then move on.

Off card making topic but can those of you that cross stitch recommend a good site for kits/charts.

Right off to see about taking verification off my blog as I think I have it and it obviously causes grief.

Tired Mom - I usually use Sew & so for cross stitch stuff but I also keep an eye on eBay as well coz you can quite often save a packet.

Was it you who asked about Cleethorpes? - here's a link to some info - Waltham windmill is supposed to be good (there's a proper old fashioned sweetie shop. DD used to enjoy the sandpit and Playtowers and the train but she's a bit big now :rotfl:

I haven't tried any of the craft shops but Pennels is supposed to be good and the Hobby House isn't far - I live half an hour west so normally head in the opposite direction TBH

Haven't done anything at all today have been feeling incredibly rough today - only the usual girly stuff but has got worse over the last couple of months with a vengeance :o
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Dragonlew - congrats on getting into the CR challenge, so that's 5 of us now!!

Thrifty - lovely to see you back posting and clearly in a more positive frame of mind

Glittermum - I have some football pencils you're welcome to them if they're of any use. I also think I might have some cow print digi paper - I'll boot DD off of the other computer in minute and have a look.

CGCockcroft - sorry for getting in muddle with names/blogs. x
