Padster - It was Lizalloareds, so Lizal please look at post above. Thanks for info re cross stitch. I haven't done any in years but close friend turns 40 in August and likes Cross Stitch so I thought I'd have a go at one for her.

Sorry you are feeling rough, the men really do have it easy don't they?

TomsMom - Mmmmm home grown strawberries. Which promarkers are you after as I think I have a couple of duplicates?

Thanks for thinking of me Tired Mom. The two that I wanted that weren't stocked by CCW were Ginger and Soft Green.

I haven't done anything about looking for any PMs today, we've had quite an eventful day.

We have a rather grumpy, unfriendly neighbour who hasn't spoken to us for a long time because we are friends with the neighbours on his other side who he fell out with. He's a very strange character in the neighbourhood who, everyone says, will speak to you one day and wont the next.

OH noticed on Friday night that his kitchen light had been left on all night and his back porch door left open. Same thing happened last night. We hadn't seen him since Thursday. We asked the other neighbour and she hadn't seen him either. We feared the worst.

We couldn't go in and check because if we had have done and he was asleep or inside he would have told us to F off. OH asked someone who lived nearby, who he did speak to as he knew her hubby before he died last year, to come and check. Well, he was collapsed on the floor.

My son and d-i-l are first responders so I asked them to come round to confirm what we all feared, which they did. They called the police so we've had ambulance, police and undertakers here for hours.

The lady who came to check on him said she's been waiting for this to happen and is surprised it didn't happen sooner. He was quite paranoid, was diggin up the whole of his garden because he said people kept bringing their garden rubbish in and leaving it in his garden so he couldn't get to his door! Obviously that wasn't happening. His house is a total tip, disgustingly filthy, he has a motor bike in his living room (not sure what for, he didn't ride it) and slept on the floor in a sleeping bag.

Sad to say this old goat wont be missed by anyone, because he was so horrible to everyone - isn't it dreadful.

    Enough of that.

Congrats Scatty Jan and anyone else, I've skimmed through today's posts and promptly forgot everything! Hopefully back to normal tomorrow.

    Hi Everyone,

CONGRATULATIONS RAINMAC, SCATTY, MELISSA AND FURRY PIG,

Well I finished race for life in 41 minutes ( including a toilet break) so am well chuffed with myself, but boy am I paying for it now, I'm just going up for a spa bath and then take some painkillers before bed it was worth it though, the atmosphere was great and not many people were wearing pink pyjamas,

Hopefully I'll blog hop once I've chilled in the bath, time is just running away with me at the moment,
    take care Jo x

Something along the lines of friendship, alcohol/coffee or gardens/greenhouse. She isn't into pink, cats or lillies and loathes birds but loves her garden, veg plot, greenhouse, coffee, alcohol, Radley bags and also likes dogs. Don't want anything too big and complicated due to lack of expertise and time. Thanks

I've turned my word verification off on blogger by the way, very simple to do.

I'll have a rummage tomorrow and see if I have anything

you're welcome lizalloareds - they still have donkeys on the beach but the rumour was it's £5 a ride  not sure how true that is though - loads of ducks to feed at the boating lake - as I work in Grimsby I don't really go there that much tend to steer clear although had some fantastic summers there when I was a kid - I lived in Essex and my aunt lived in Cleethorpes so we used to come up every summer

Sorry about your neighbour Toms mum - it must still have been a shock

Forgot to say congrats to all the winners as well - think I should give up
