Wifey - SNAP! Well, I've committed your card to the care of Royal Mail but not blogged it yet, so it's safe to venture there at the moment. As with most of my cards there's a tale to tell.........

Gemm - Your ATC is my next challenge.

Dragonllew - afraid I leave the stash swap to last 'cos I never know what to include but I'll do my best.

Choccy - I've not heard from Lyndach - I think her last post on here said she had stuff ready to mail though I think she was due to go back to work any time soon so may have her hands full.?

Haven't seen Peppop since we swapped our cards either.

Wonder how flourgirl's DH is? Hope he's OK......think she may be away in this glorious weather.

Mary Op - Hope you enjoy your trip 'Up North' My MIL will be 90 this year too.

    to anyone I've missed.

ATC swap was posted today Dragon Card swap yesterday Glittermum
Am hating this going to work lark have to spend my evenings catching up rather than doing anything but am back to normal next week and am then on leave the following week - DD will be at school and OH has a 2 day meeting so can do what I want :D:D

Has anyone tried the self service machine at the PO? Went today as I wanted a few stamps requested 6 first and 8 large first thinking it would spit out 3 books but nope it printed 14 individual stamps so stood there like a right numpty waiting for it to finish :o wouldn't have minded but there was no queue :p

Just a quickie from me, vie not heard from the other 2 but I know flourgirl mentioned she was going away for a month once her dad was on the mend, she mentioned no net connection for a couple of weeks until she arrives at her sons.

I am off to enjoy some peace and quiet for a change! Busy day tomorrow so tonight I shall watch soaps and catch up on blogs.

Jeepers, Padster, what will they think of next. I'm glad I live in the wilds, our PO's are an old chapel/village shop, the stable block of an old house and a village house. I can just imagine the old ducks out here (soon to be one!) moaning like the clappers if Royal Mail installed one of them there! :rotfl:

Thank you Rusty - I must have missed that! :o

Padster - No I've not used one - saw one the other week in the main PO in Southport with a be-suited chappie trying to drum up business for it - he'd have been more useful behind the counter actually serving the humungeous queue! (steps off soapbox.....& falls flat on face.......)
