Rainmac huge huge thank you for my stash swap! Everything is gorgeous and I love how you've colour co-ordinated it. The card is soo pretty in real life too
I'm sorry to say I haven't had a chance to sort yours out yet (have started collecting bits together though) so will be posting it early next week x
lei I wonder why the stamp has gone from funky kits. I was going to buy it for my ds2's birthday card. it isn't till November so wasn't rushing to buy it
Tis very strange indeed - if you want any stamping nearer the time the let me know! x0 -
Melissa - I work with a Leicester City fan (from Blaby) and I get real stick from him about about the results every week! I'm embarassed to say I'm glad we're not playing Leicester 'cos our star striker is on loan from them! You are right to be proud of Elliot he is gorgeous.
Wishfulcomper - meant to say earlier glad you op was a success & don't rush your recovery, it can take a while to get the anaesthetic out of your system & it surely must have been painful x
TomsMum - glad you had a good day out.0 -
Morning,
I did have a lovely day yesterday and was well and truly spoiled, and it's back to the grindstone today, I have a busy one today, work all day then ds has french club after school I have got most of tea sorted so I just have to pop it in the oven and I'm hoping to finish Dads card this evening, roll on half term I may even get some crafting done,
Where do you buy your replacement blades for the robo, I don't need all the casings just the blade, I want a spare just in case,
Take care Jo xTake care Jo x0 -
Just racing on as taking DD to see Peppa Pig's Party at the Lowry this morning, she had tickets for a birthday present. Doing Library for her class at school this afternoon and then we have a JabberJacks Junior Party at Rainbows tonight so it's all go.
TomsMom - Glad you had a successful trip out. We were in Shrewsbury on Saturday, I love it. Didn't realise that Dunelm had a craft section though, is that in the retail park near the Tesco Park & Ride at Harlescott? How far is Wrexham from you as there is some sort of Art Stamp Papercraft show at Wrexham University on the 31st July I think. I can't find out anymore more details but saw it advertised in a magazine so need to try and find the advert again as I may manage to get to that one.
Crafty - Hope your ankle is a bit better today and the rest overnight has helped the swelling.
Right off to do the put your socks on battle .......

Morning Everyone
Well the sweeling on my ankle has not gone yet...but I was able to dive Alex to school as it seemed easier than walking on it! Last night I had one of those nights where you could just not get to sleep & Alex kept coming in to ask to go downstairs but when it came to him getting up he didn't want to know! Somehow after all that I don't feel tired....well yet anyway
Hassy I've not started feeding the tomatoes or beans yet. They've been in the sun room and I haven't been able to put them out as it's been too cold. I bought the tomatoes as seedlings from Wilkinsons about mid-March and planted them up straight away. The beans I think I planted at the end of March. I suppose it's a bit like a greenhouse so they've come on quite a lot. The weather is supposed to be warming up now and I'm going to risk putting them out tomorrow. I've got a gardening blog which I'll try and update in the next day or two and if you're interested you can see what they're like.
CraftyJuJu Oh dear, what a time you had at the drs. I hope your ankle is better soon.
Thanks Toms Mom, I'm going to chance planting my toms out this weekend too as it seems to be warming up, fingers crossed there should be no more frost now! My peas are no way ready yet though as I was very late planting the seeds but my strawberrys are looking lush, loads of flowers all over so fingers crossed lots of yummy strawberrysThe funny thing with my strawberrys is that 2 yrs ago they seeded theirselfs from a plant pot into the gravel part of my garden & since I've left them there they seem very happy, even with the kiddies running all over them over the winter! (they didn't die back either!)
Right going to have a crack at a necklace todayHugs to you all & hope you have a sunny day xXx
