Juju I hope you're better soon and I second TiredMom with a bag of frozen peas,
I'm not a fainter giving blood, more of a chucking up artiste. There's no visible veins in the crook of my arm but nurses will rootle around looking for one, before they do I ask for a kidney bowl. They don't look too long and go for the back of my hand, if I let my hands dangle they can find some corkers. I can squirt them at five paces if they don't duck! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
TiredMom - thank you for that, I do hope I get them, I will ring them in the morning x

Hi Hassy,
Thank you for the links & code's. I just looked on the craftutopia site and they are stocking the new Gorjuss range. I saw it yesterday on QVC and it sold out before we got to see it  The lady who designed them is from Scotland, a mum to 3 children so she must be really pleased.
That was probably a piece of useless information......oops!!!2014 Swagbucks goal - £50/ £300 - 16/01/2014

Just flying on to say thanks to Choccy for my lovely swap card and images xx Mine will all be posted on Friday.
Sorry to be MIA but things just seem so busy at the moment.0 -
evening all, sorry I haven't been keeping up properly, I seem to have no time this week
I'm on lates at work this week so feeling sorry for myself lol
have skim-read and sending hugs to all, hope to be back to keeping up properly soon! xx0 -
Scatty - I've done my music card and it's blogged here Also realised that the Gift Voucher wrapper could be entered into the stitchy challenge so Padster that is also at that link, must admit it seems very boring and plain next to the other creations but I'll work on the less is more.
Does anyone know how long Craftwork Cards take to deliver from order being placed? I've ordered papers for the wedding card I need to do which is a week on Friday and I only placed my order at the beginning of the week
Rainmac - The wedding card I am going to be doing is predominately black and white so suitable for your challenge at magic. The only colour I will have probably is a red rose. However I think one of the papers has silver swirls through it so does this count as a colour i.e. making too many colours with the red rose?

Gemm Hi wondered where you had got to...:)
Popkins I have lost long posts before now, after spending loads of time composing and then pressing post quick reply and nothing.. fume.. That's why I tend to do two posts cos that way there is less chance of losing it ..
Jowri Hope you had a lovely day
CONGRATS CHOCCY :j:j
Craftyjuju Poor you.. you have been in the wars today.. I am surprised the hospital didn't look at your ankle while you were there.. keep it elevated.. with bag of peas as has been advised, and arnica as Tiredmom suggested.. Good job you didn't bang your head...
You moan away... its what we're here for, all part of the service..Glad you've got your mojo back, long may it last..
Hope the links I've posted help in some way...
I can only have blood taken from one arm, so the blood suckers are a bit snookered really, and my arm is a bit stingy when it comes to giving it out... they have a fight on their hands.. and it hurts doesn't it...
Lei Thank you for the WH Smith link..
Farmville Thank you for the low down on the Gorguss girls creator, I find things like that interesting.. I hope the site has what you are looking for..
Wishful and Bunbun Hope you both feel much better very very soon.
Rusty It is really good to see you are fully crafting again.. I do hope you begin to feel much better soon and the pains in your leg have gone now..
Oap You made me laugh with your fiskars and oh and your drawer with lovely papers.. I can imagine you sitting there stroking them calling them 'my precious!!! '
I think we all secretly have drawers like that...
CT Very well done on your sales, that is brill...
I went to Hobbycraft to buy the cheapy promarkers, they did not have a brill selection.. surprise surprise.. they have been very popular which is understandable and had sold out, but I have been told the special offer is on til July..The trouble is, I find that in the 5's packets, there is atleast one in each that I already have... sigh!!

my o/h has terrible problems with blood tests etc . He fainted or had panic attacks etc and his doc gave him a little tube of something called emla cream and he puts it on an hour before he has his bloods done and nothing he's fine says it doesn't even hurt.
Crafty ju ju sounds painful, hope you get lots of rest and it feels better soon.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
