Lyndach - you have another new stalker

Rainmac - I don't envy you. Hope they recover quickly.

Sorry if I've forgotton anyone, but I'm having one of those days and am due in work in 30 minutes ( I don't normally work, but cover odd shifts when needed) and I'm not looking forward to it!

Anyway, I've finally blogged this week.

Lei - Thanks for the link to the woodware one, I am thinking I might leave it all together as I rarely use buttons and I would just be wanting one for the sake of wanting one?

Craftyjuju - Wow well done on your £15 sale!! Told you to aim a bit higher ;)

Saucy & The-Wife - Do you ever sleep??

Rainmac - Sorry to hear the boys are poorly again!!! whatever is next!! .... You may be ok for your DS's banding, they can start back at school once they pox have scabbed over, I am so glad my 2 have had it, although would have preferred DD to be a bit older than 6 months when she had it :rotfl: that was hard!! Hope they don't suffer too much. Calomine lotion is great for pox!

Padster - Happy birthday to your DD :D hope she has a lovely day!

Wow a lot of people have had their kids dress up today!! Ours is tomorrow, DS wanted to go as Harry potter but I told him no as I only forked out for an indian costume a couple of weeks ago (he is never interested in fancy dress unless at school) and can't afford to waste more money on buying something he would wear once!! plus they only sent the letter home on wednesday!! Luckily bunbun to the rescue, I now have a harry potter costume which she has lent to us!! :j

I am having a nightmare trying to find card blanks for these wedding invites!! have been everywhere and now will have to order off the net and pay the extra price!! ..... I am quite annoyed as the girl I am doing them for has changed her mind 3 or 4 times in the last 3 days, once I start them I will not be changing anything unless she pays extra lol!

    Hope everyone else is ok?

Rusty - was it you asked me which Martha Stewart punch I bought? It's simple scallop - just took me ages to get it out the box and now I have bits all over the floor lol!

Can you hear that?Silence - I'm on my own in the house - DD has taken her friend to the park it's 3 doors down the road and if I open the door I can hear them bonus of them being 10 and living in the middle of nowhere :T

Thank you for the happy birthday wishes for DD will tell her when she decides that I'm worth speaking to as I mysteriously turn into staff when she has friends in :rotfl:.

Forgot who posted about the Belles and Whistles tutorial but there's one on my blog and it was ever so ever so easy although I did alter it a bit :D

Hope everyone has had a good week.

Just about to read the 6 pages I've missed, so will post again later with comments.

I've had a fab week, as my son got into our first choice secondary school, and I was suprised by my 2 best friends on Tuesday night with dinner and a ticket to see Mama Mia in London! I wish every day could be fabulous!

I made them a thank you card each and just posted them on my blog.

Be back later, got to collect the kids from club.

    xx

I get annoyed that people will pay allsorts of money for things in a shop yet won't pay it for a unique, handmade item from someone they know!!!

I think you were looking for the word Folksy!!!
Unfortuatly my mum is one of thess people! She has never understood what I love to do. When I told her what I asked for she was like 'WHAT, how much!' so I said to her 'think about how much she would pay for something in a shop like this!', she can't get her head around that it was a sock, seems to forget about the fact its no longer a sock but a toy! I just said I'd be making her Mothers Day Card & she pulled a face...she likes shop bought ones with long verses in! She been like this since I went to collage & Uni to do my Textile Degree, I think its because she was a Nurse & hoped I'd be one too...not for me I'm afraid! lol

Anyway thats my moan over for the day...sorry :p

Good News...I can't beleave my order from 'Mad About Cards' has already arrived, I only ordered 36hours ago! :D Of cause my mum pulled a face...'where you going to put that' was her first thought where as mine
was 'oooohhhh want to play' :D I can't beleave how much stuff I got for under £30 (inc P&P) so much was only 25p & they offered me 10% for 1st order www.madaboutcards.com (I don't work for them honest)

melissa75 - Thankyou :D The zip was part of an old belt of mine I no longer used :)

Rustyflange - Thankyou, I'm thinking now of making some creatures up to sell on-line at Folksy & maybe Esty :)

Right have a fun evening everyone I'm off to get ready for work :( its only little shifts I work (6-10) so can't complain but I would much rather be crafting...be back after 10 to catch up :D xx
    :wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:

:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j
