    Hello all :j
rainmac - sorry to hear your kids have chickenpox but its better to get it out of the way now. My kids had it when they were little, as did half the neighbourhood.......they still went out playing with each other. One of the parents got it and he was quite ill.
Calamine lotion was what I had when I was little and got it -my kids had the same..........good stuff.

I'm so pleased with myself............I made a button necklace :j After much messing about I just grabbed a pile of mums buttons in random fashion and it turned out ok...............so guess what everyones getting this year......................lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

My mother doesn't appreciate the things I make for her either.

Can you make her a card with a long poem in it - there's one here scroll down to no 6.

Its on my homepage under my username ;) I still have to blog the one i made her off the boys, will blog that one after tea.
My ear is hurting again today :( Just when i was starting to feel abit better again. Only 3rd day on antibiotics though so still another 4 days to go.

    Pointofnoreturn - Folksy..thats it thankyou :D
I find them relaxing to do too when sat in front of the TV :) thats prob why it takes me a little longer!

I took the sock buddy today to my friend & he was over the moon with it :D He said he'd showed the photo to his son whos nearly 6 & told him it had been specially made for him & he got excited. He said he'd pass the word round for me too :D Money is now put away for NEC :j

Well done - I am happy that he was so pleased with the sock buddy. I also have a big bag of brightly coloured socks in the loft so may start making the monkeys again when I get home from here!!!

Pointofnoreturn - crikey - you've been bying some fab bargains - I don't know how you're going to fit it all into your luggage!!!

When I came I had brought quite a few things for my friend and also foodie things to use whilst here so I should have 1 emptly suitcase to fill up!!!! I may carry an extra shopping bag through as hand baggage though!!!!

I am off out to Joann's Craft shop today as they have the most beautiful cotton fabric there and it is was on offer. They say they take competitors vouchers also so may print off another 50% off voucher to use on some cupcake fabric I saw which was abit pricey!!!!

I was so pleased to get the MS Scoreboard though - I had my heart set on it!!!

Lyndach - your little girl is so cute!!! My little boy is 7 months!! My laptop seems to be acting funny as it will only let me view one of your cards - but its fab!!!

Rainmac - your easter cards are lovely!!!! I love the pastel colours that you've used. Your boys cards are fab too - love the football one!!

Mad-Frog - your fruit bouquet is fabulous - such a great idea!!!! There's a couple of other sites that sell October Afternoon papers - did you want some links for them??

Pointofnoreturn - that's handy then having an empty suitcase that you can fill with crafty goodies.
