Thank u so much for ur help and advice Glittermum, I think i might pop to the Range even if its just to see if they have the Docrafts mag in stock and have a look at how much things cost, see if I can get some bits to make a start today. I have some double sided tape which I got for making cross stitch cards and I brought some small foam pads, to raise the cross stitch off the card at the weekend so hopefully they will b ok too.

Thank u again for ur help

    Samm x

Hope you get some bargains. The latest issue of Docrafts has some free stamps on the front so you may need an acrylic block to put them on and a ink pad as well as then you would be able to use the free stamps - think they were floral borders (if I could find the bag I brought home from the Range last week I could tell you lol).

If you can pick up the previous issue it had a free CD on the front which may be of use to you (haven't looked at mine yet so no idea if it was any good or not).

Of course mummies and daddies couldn't possibly have time off to look after a sick child, only days off for hairdressers and fake tan sessions!!!!

    nothing changes then lol.

I remember when I nannied one of the parents couldn't possibly take half an hour off work to watch her daughters first ever nativity play when she was at nursery but managed to take a day of work for half an hour when the vet visited her sisters goat as she needed the support!!!!!!!! Mind you this was the same parent who told me it was inconvenient having their daughter as she had to get rid of the sports car as she couldn't fit a car seat in the back of it.

DD loves nursery rhythms so she is going as baa baa black sheep. Black top (her brothers so looks more like a dress), black leggings and sheep mask that we printed off Sparklebox and then coloured in black as it was white. Again
we have put this on a black head band to wear on her head, I find my two hate masks so don't ever bother with them.
    ..

Tired Mum I saw you mention Sparklebox and did't know if you were aware of all that has been happening around that site. Apparently this is true as it was mentioned at the time on BBC news and I have seen email evidence from police sources to childminders in one area that confirms it.

I think the problems were connected to the downloaded tool bar and not sure about the actual site itself but here is a link if you have the tool bar telling how to make sure it is completely deleted from your computers. I know that schools in our local Authority had to follow the advice not to use it as well.

I don't know them PepPop but it seems an OK site by what they have on offer. Free postage too.

I wish you were joking but sadly you're not are you :( How can people be like that about children??? I am well and truly glad mine have chickenpox now rather than later in life when it can be much more serious.

I've sat and blogged all the cards I made last night (whilst having a nice coffee and listening to my two arguing about what to play on the wii), be warned, there are lots :) DS2 was supposed to have his swine flu jab today so I phoned the surgery to say I thought he had chickenpox and the receptionist screamed at me down the phone that he shouldn't come anywhere near the surgery and certainly couldn't have his jab. I replied saying I know, I'm phoning to cancel the appointment

Thanks for the comments but maybe I should just be patient. (and stop refreshing their page in the hope that they're mysteriously going to come back into stock immediately :o)

I know most of you probably have seen this site but I have fallen in love with the images here.

    http://digitaltuesday.blogspot.com

i have also just spent the past hour downloading ALL the images. I so love designs like this and I think I have found the perfect image for my friends birthday card to boot.

I found the site from a link on someone's blog on here that took me to a free digistamping blog showing blogs with the freebies and which day they are there on. Hope this makes sense.

All I need now are a few more hours in each day. I have an assessment at the end of the month for which I should be sorting paperwork etc for. Mum has been to look at a flat today and has been given it (fantastic news as she is in a 3 bed semi at the moment and is struggling to get up and down the stairs) On the down side as she said 'I'll leave it all up to you to sort out decorating, moving etc'

Where I am I going to find the time (perhaps get off the net and leave you all for a month - er no I don't think so lol - you ladies keep me sane)

Thankfully I have a brilliant parent at the moment in who restores my faith in parents and of course all you lovely ladies on here show me there are many more good parents out there than bad.
