Wifey ...Louby lou has a cricut and DTB

Just before i had my robo i looked into both. But opted for the robo as i thought you would be abit limited with the cricut as you can only do shapes that you have the cartridge for. ( If what i read was correct)

So i would say it depends if you dont use Robbie because hes awkward to operate ,the cricut looks alot easier. or if you just dont use die cuts ? If its the latter well i would suggest he treats you to a week away in the sun instead ;)

Thanks choccy, I 'm still worrying about his motive let alone checking them out :o:o

I'll get some advice from Louby and DTB and also have a look on UKS.

    Well deserved rainmac :T:T:T

Sorry Marg, no wings card from me. :(
I don't know where my mojo has gone - I ended up giving my friend a bought card that I'd had for ages as I just couldn't come up with anything for her.
I've been getting distressed by my distressed inks! I think that's part of the problem - I really want to do something with them, but just seem completely stumped for inspiration. I can't settle to making a card without them because I know they're there IYSWM. I could really do with making some cards up for DD to take to work also, but my mind is a blank. :(
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

JHB have you looked at Tim Holtz's own website, I'm sure I remember seeing something on there. Also have a look on www.splitcoasterstampers.com check out the gallery and search for distressing, loads of stuff, there may even be something in their tutorials or resources.

Off to listen to No 3 son on t'internet radio

The only info I have confirmed at the moment for the May release of DoCrafts products is that some of the components of the Goody Bags have been delayed so they won't go out to the suppliers until the 7th of May.
I'll add more info if I get it.

I'm looking for ideas! I have about 15 of the small size Douwe Egberts coffee jars and thought maybe my craft club could make something one week. ONly thing is I'm not sure what. I've seen lots of different recipie jars but wondered if there were any ideas that didn't involve baking type gifts.
    Any inspiration?

I have been asked to do a quote for save the date cards and wedding invites but they don't know how many or what they want but want a figure from me. Do they think i am a mind reader and can magic a number out of my head?

Urgh! What a nightmare - guess you will have to give a "per card" price, unless you can get them to give some sort of number! Good luck with it though!

  • Hello everyone :hello: - have been awol for a few days and have missed 35 pages .

So if no-one minds, I'll just pick-up from this point. I have noticed that Rusty is back - helloooooooo - glad you are back missus.

Had a really nice couple of days as OH has had some well-earned time off work. Visited a local charity shop and found 10 card-making magazines from last year for £2 - bargain :T
