I'm looking for ideas! I have about 15 of the small size Douwe Egberts coffee jars and thought maybe my craft club could make something one week. ONly thing is I'm not sure what. I've seen lots of different recipie jars but wondered if there were any ideas that didn't involve baking type gifts.
    Any inspiration?

Nici I decorated the large Douwe Egbert coffee jars for table decorations that were filled with sweets for a friends wedding, its on my blog around January time. Easy to do.

    Congrats Rainmac well deserved .

Nici. Could you decorate the jars or lids and use them for storing flowers or other bits of stash.

I made the Top 3 at Stitchy Stamps :j :T :j :T :j :T, wow I've never ever been best cardmaker anywhere, I am so chuffed :D:D:D. The perfect end to a rather carp day as my car is poorly, it's off to the garage tomorrow :(, think it's suspension related and I also have 2 illegal tyres :o:o:o God my OH was mad at me but I don't do car stuff, that's his territory ;)

Got loads to do tonight - ironing, minutes for preschool, other preschool paperwork, can't be ar*ed with it really but need to be done :(

sorry to hear your car is poorly, how mean of your OH to be mad at you, car maintenance is a man's job! (I dont even put my own petrol in :rotfl:)

OTOH well done for making the top 3!! things must be looking up :j

Here I am for the night shift!

Though it may be a short one - we're having the house painted and the decorator is coming for 8:30 tomorrow morning:eek: so I MUST go to bed early I'm also tired 'cos we've spent a big chunk of the day gardening.

JHB - sorry you didn't get a card done but I so understand you've got more interesting pursuits to occupy you.:) I hadn't realised you'd gone AWOL 'cos you felt down but I'd certainly missed you!

Nici - Please never hesitate to come here when you feel down - we all have our moments and there's always someone to listen and offer support either a chat, sound advice or tell you where to spend your money!

Louby Lou Lou - Never fear - we'll get you through the week (see above)

Well Done Rainmac! Sorry to hear about your car, I agree it's a man thing to do car stuff.

    Welcome back Thrifty!
