Rusty you're a mind reader - that's the site I was looking at but the pink one is £59.99 (with 236 loyalty points) and the green one is £54.95 (with 216 loyalty points and 500 bonus points). The pink one doesn't have a C plate but I don't know what that's for and whether I would need it? (the pink one was in hobbycraft for £74.99  so glad I never impulse bought)
    - where do you find your cake pics - they're fab!!

Happy Birthday Mrs B, have a great day.

    Welcome newbies.

Sammr85 - I always get my Creativity mag from here. The latest issue is number 20 and they seem to have sold out already. You need to be quick with them because they offer free p+p. They do have a couple of older issues which might be worth getting. Plenty of other online sellers of the mag, I've bought from ebay but check postage, if you google put in Docrafts Creativity Magazine for more results.

PepPop - the green cuttlebug comes with A, 2 x B and C plate plus the set of 4 little folders and 1 small cutting die. The pink one, which my friend has, does not have the C plate unless someone throws it in as a special offer. You don't need to buy spare plates, they should last years. However, when using cutting dies make sure you use the same one all the time to cut onto (IYSWIM) as it will get marked. Don't always use the plates the same way up, the B plate in particular will end up looking like a banana if you do when using it on the top, turn them over and use them the other way as well.

Rusty - sorry you're still feeling poorly.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. I'm a bit behind again. Was out on Sunday fetching my new iron (yeah, very exciting - haven't used it yet but it looks good!) and did some gardening yesterday as it was so nice. We've got another lovely day and I should be out there again but I need to give my back a rest as I tend to overdo it and end up with a really bad back.

My mom returned home from the care home yesterday, a miracle considering she wasn't expecting to last the day when she was rushed to hospital a month ago. She's been assessed and will be able to live independently for now with someone coming in once a day to help "with jobs" whatever that means. She's still a bit confused and forgetful so doesn't really know yet what this help entails.

    Have a great day everyone.

ETA: PepPop - you need the C plate if you use Nesties cutting dies (and probably others). It's thicker than the B plate but if you don't have it you could probably use shims with a B plate.

Hi PepPop - just to say that I recently purchased the pink cuttlebug - ridiculous really cos I already had a green one but I LOVE pink and tbh my MIL is going to be soooo thrilled on mother's day cos I'm gonna give her my green one!! Anyway I bought my pink one from Cutting Edge Crafts and it came with all the plates including the C plate!!! It was the cheapest I could find and about the only place that also included the C plate - it was £67.95 though!!! sooooo if you really don't care about the colour I would say get the green one!!! I bought my green one from the same place Rusty suggested but it was less cos there was a discount code at the time!! Happy bugging!! :D

    Good Morning Everyone

How is everyone? Well, I hope?

I'm not stopping long, have to get to work, but I wondered if anyone had spotted any bargain in flowers at the moment??

Chat more later when I get back.

    Hi Sal.

QVC are doing a great offer...I'm so tempted!

200 Handmade Paper Flowers in Assorted Colours

Actually, they're nothing special but I've got quite a few flower die cuts that are just sitting here doing nothing...would you like them?
