    Morning.

Just a quick heads up (incase none of you are aware - unlikely I know), the next issue of Papercraft Inspirations will have 16 stamps as the freebie gift. It looks like there will be few a sentiments included as well as flowers. I'll let you know what they are once my subs copy arrives.

    Welcome to the thread sammr85.

Lovely makes on blogs and Flourgirl your card and stamp you received are gorgeous. x

JHB - I think I'm being a bit dim, but still can't find a way to officially follow you, other than signing up for email notifications - am I missing something??

    Happy Birthday Mrs BBlog

Rusty - hope you soon feel better

Princesstiger - welcome to the thread.

Sorry if I've missed anyone - skim reading as I have to go out soon!

I finally ventured into our local Hobbycraft yesterday and came home with nothing. I was so overwhelmed and couldn't decide what to buy. How rubbish is that. I was gonna buy a cuttlebug but they only had pink ones and to be honest I know you can get green ones online cheaper but I didn't know if there is any difference apart from the colour (I'm not a particularly pink person so not fussed about the pinkness of it and paying an extra £20 just for the sake of it)
Can anyone suggest which one to go for - oh and will the plates that come with it do me just now or would I need to buy extra ones?

I'll catch up on everyones blogs tomorrow - I'm going cross-eyed and need my bed. It's taken me all weekend to persuade my laptop to talk to me again!!!

Hi, I have a snot green cuttlebug and they come with all of the plates you need and also a little pack of stamp dies, I believe the pink ones don't come with any plates, but I am not 100% sure on this so maybe you could ask Popkins as she has everything pink :rotfl: Also the green one is cheaper and the best place to get it from is probably craft superstore
I love my cuttlebug although it hasn't been used for a few weeks as I have a craft robo aswell! (this hasn't been used for a couple of weeks either thinking about it!)

Martha Stewart Round the Page Punch

I've been trawling around youtube to try and find info on the punches I recently bought from QVC. I found this link on youtube that helps with the size of card to use so paper and pen would be handy before you view it, she rattles them off quite quickly.

I used one of mine last week and I measured it with a ruler to see how wide the punched bits were and worked it out myself, I think some of the punched bits are a little wider than others, my doiley lace is smaller than my loops but my new one which is a crown one is the same as the loops. I picked up my crown from the sorting office, not had a proper chance to play with it yet, but I did punch all around the instructions! :rotfl:

Flourgirl - Did you have a wonderful time??

SammR - Welcome to the madhouse, please do join in although be warned that this is the most expensive thread on the whole of MSE, we are even more expensive than the wedding threads :rotfl:

Right time to go put all of the ribbons in my mums invites, and make up the other 3 she asked for last night :o

Rusty - images arrived safely yesterday, thank you. I've already made a card using the cat on a flowerpot as an order for DD's work colleague. I sent it in this monring and apparently she loved it. :)

wanna-b-rich - I don't think there is any way to follow blogs on WordPress apart from by email notification. I'm stil not sure if I like WordPress - I might try again with blogspot.

sammr - Hobbycraft don't stock the DoCrafts magazine. You can buy it in The Range or online (I think I once bought one in Sainsbury's, but it was free in a bundle with another magazine, so I'm not sure if they normally sell it).

some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

OMG - I can post from work! Must be good.....

Just wanted to say to Sammr85 that I'm in Swindon - there is a Range in town, and also a large craft shop called the Inkspot right in the middle of town (behind where Woolworths used to be if that's any help!) Also, in Old Town (at the back of wood street - where the co op is) there is a lovely little craft shop that is closing down at teh end of this month so she has lots of bargains. I really can't remember what it's called though - if you need more directions OM me and I'll get back to you! If you fancy joining us at the NEC later this month I'm driving! Let me have your address and I'll pop some bits and pieces in the post.

    Happy Birthday Mrs B

    Good Morning Everyone

How is everyone? Well, I hope?

I'm not stopping long, have to get to work, but I wondered if anyone had spotted any bargain in flowers at the moment??

Chat more later when I get back.
