hi all, I have never tried card making before but I would absolutly love to learn!! We have a hobbycraft 2 mins up the rd and everytime I go in I look round at all the embellishments but I dont have the courage to spend lots of money on supplies when I dont know what I'm doing!!

Just wondered if anyone had any advice on what every gd card maker should have and where the cheapest place is to buy supplies as hobbycraft I think r rather pricey!

    TIA

    Samm x

    First of all welcome!! :):)

Do you have another craft shop (any other craft shop!) near you other than Hobbycraft? I only ask bc Hobbycraft are outrageously expensive and although this addiction can become expensive there's really no need to pay Hobbycraft prices! Most craft shops have got bargain bins - maybe you could try that first to practise?
Alternatively, your very best course of action IMHO would be to buy a copy of the Docrafts magazine (craft shop again) as it's only a quid and comes with a freebie and lots of ideas for all levels.

I'm a keen card maker so thought I'd introduce myself and join in the fun if that's ok? :)

I'm really sorry if I'm boring you with repeated information but I noticed some of you were talking about The Paper Mill Shop earlier. My local store give you 50p off a box of paper if you take your old box and fill that up rather than use a new box. Makes a full A4 box only £4.50.
You guys probably already know that anyway though :)

Also meant to ask, has anyone got any Gorjuss Girls stamps pls?

I'd love to swap some images for some Magnolia ones if anyone's interested.

    Many thanks

    Hi all,

Have managed to comment on a few blogs but not all of them, things are a bit manic at the minute and I am finding myself getting very confused and not quite with it so I will apologise, I am still here (just!) Hope everyone is ok, not had a chance to catch up but though I would pop in and say ello!
