This year the traditional 6th wedding anniversary present theme is Iron and Sugar, What!
Any ideas?
Doh i think i am losing the plot Love hearts There sugar.
Yeah its not just us that do thisbut my hubby tends to buy me something! I made my hubby a card with cupcakes on & the word 'Sweet' (pic on blog)then filled a bag with retro sweets (abit easy I know) as a joke I put a shiny mans thong in it I got from Next in the sale...to see his 'Sweet !!!!!!'....its a bit out there & corny I know but it was funny seeing his face when he pulled them out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:he surprisingly hasn't tried them on yet
For me he got a new biscuit tin for our kitchen, its pink & covered in pics of biscuits & sweets...perfectly matches my redecorated kitchen
As its his birthday too on the same day we keep to a £5 limit on the gift so we don't go too mad (it was his 30th this year so I really had limited funds!)
Happy Anniversay for when it is

Hey,
Has anyone seen or have an image of the tortoise and hare race? Thought it would make a good card for wishing a speedy recovery!
Thanks x0 -

I've only managed to find this - nothing much around for this!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Well here I am again awake alllll night!!! Just can't stay in bed cos its just toooo painful to lie down - my back/neck is killing me - back to the Docs I need to go me thinks!!
Pointofnoreturn thats a fab blog - some great tutorials thanks for the linky!
CraftJuJu - loving handmadeheartfelted blog - some gorgeous things to make - will definitely be trying out some of those projects once my craftroom is sorted!
Had very productive weekend - went to Ikea and got some goodies for my craftroom!!Can't wait for hubby to get cracking with his toolbag!!!
oooErrr - you know what I mean LOL!!!
Plus I managed to 'win' a Bisley filing cabinet on Ebay (just like the one Gemma transformed! altho not as cheap!!
) sooo off to buy some spray paint this week - just need it to stop raining so I can try and make it look pretty!!! Plus lovely Gemma managed to get me one of those fabby storage thingys from Aldi - thank you Gemma you're an angel!! :A
Also went looking at printers on Saturday but oh my gosh its a minefield!! I can't think why its sooooo difficult - could it be because I want it to do EVERYTHING perhaps?!!!!!! Plus we went in 3 stores and spent ages looking at them (including taking them off the shelves to look at the back to see if they had straight thru paper path) and not once did a member of staff come over to us to see if we needed help!! Crazy - cost them a sale I can tell you cos I'm gonna order one online now (& not from any of them) I don't think!! Basically this is my list of requirements:
Need it to print on card
Need it to have a straight thru paper path (to help with printing on card!)
Need it to print photos
Need it to scan & copy
Need it to print fairly quickly
Need it to have numerous cartridges (so cheaper to run!)
Want it to print on CDs
Would like it to have WiFi but not a deal breaker!
Thats not toooo much to ask for is it?!!! Mmmm maybe it is! Anyway the issue seems to be the printing on card because you can't find on any of the spec be it online or on the box instore or anywhere what the heaviest gsm weight of paper/card each printer can cope with and as I say shop assistants were very few on the ground - I think we managed to grab one and he just looked vacant and kinda said 'dunno'!! So I've managed to find one that does everything on my list above apart from I can't find out what its like dealing with heavier paper/card!!! So I'm back kto not knowing what to do but if I don't get a new one soon I'm gonna throw mine out of the window cos its RUBBISH and driving me insane!
Anyway off to have a cuppa now & carry on sorting - sorting sorting sorting thats all I do at the moment - need to get on and make some cards but its tricky with all this upheaval in the house plus need to make some nappy cakes as got 5 on order!! woop woop!
Dragonllew - thankyou for my gorgeous swap card - it came on Saturday and is lovely - I love her heart pockets!!! Sorry you haven't got yours yet - but its at the top of my list to do now that I have a clear desk and generally know what I've got and where it all is YAY!0 -
Also, where would be the best place on CP to put info & links about the Boweasy, I've just made my first one? Included with the Boweasy are a few links that may be useful for those with the other type as well.
Hiya Wifey
What about the Card Making thread????
