Louby-lou-lou - How about a Iron horseshoe and get some sweet's and hang them with ribbon from the horseshoe. First idea that came to mind when I saw Iron I thought of horseshoes lol

I hope your OH doesn't take it too seriously and get you an iron - found these although they're "metal" - there was a lovely cast iron heart pan and a le creuset heart shaped casserole but it's £££:eek:.

Those egg rings would be lovely filled with sweeties

Sorry Louby-lou-lou I have no clue as to what you could do with iron and sugar. Look forward to hearing what you do do, cause it will give me some ideas when out 6th anni comes around.

Well the house got cleaned, and the ironing is done, so I have just blogged the pirate card I made last night, with the help of some fab images from pointofnoreturn. Thank you sooooo much xxx

Evening all
Been away for a day and a bit and the thread has zoomed on. Not had time to read all the posts yet, will send this then have a brew and read whilst slurping.
Not very money saving, but Ideal World had Hunkydory cup cakes card kit this afternoon for all cup cakers to look at...
I promise I have no personal attachment to the company I know I may have mentioned them a couple of times in reply to The Wifes query, it is just a coincidence honest...

There is a March freebie in the shape of a Mum Word Book at craftycatz.co.uk A freebie is shown brginning of every month I believe, only just found the site, just missed February's.

The ironing seemed to take me forever this morning so didn't get much time to play - but have blogged today's project .

Unfortunately I now have more as I had another 2 loads of washing to do .

didn't have as many people as we would have liked to the card party but took £60 , gained a new customer and have more orders to make which means more money !! also got an order through our website and when I asked how she'd found us she said through google and that our cards were fantastic and she was very impressed so all in all not a bad weekend

I've decided to order the Peerless Watercolour paper. It only seems to be available by mail order in the US. So whilst I am in the US might as well go for it. They are a pad of papers which you can use a wet paintbrush on to take off the colour and then use it on stamped images. They cost around $14 for a pad of various different colours.
Sunrise27 - glad you made some money and gained a couple of new customers, the table of cards look great.
ct19720 - wow I love the Pirate card. I've not used the pirate bits and pieces yet but you have really inspired me me now!!!! I'm sure the little boy whose birthday it is will be very thrilled with it.

Found a nice blog with some great tutorials on it. I think it is American but still quite a useful resource. If you scroll down on the left hand side there is a tutorial menu.

and on sandradrydesigns.blog on Thurs 25th feb there is a really lovely card on a cup cake ish theme but using easter eggs instead....
