Ooh Lei I have failed in organising your stash swop too so please don't worry, I will try harder and hope to get it sent soon!
I was sooo tempted to go to Make It as it is so close to me but it's £7.50 to get in and trying to be good. Please let me know what it's like as might go next time if you recommend it!! Thanks xxx

Lol I should hopefully be sorting yours tomorrow so it will be in the post on Monday! The Make It show has been cancelled tomorrow due to high winds :( Oh well means more money to spend at the NEC x

Can anyone tell me if it is worth getting a subscription to the Papercraft Inspirations Magazine please. As I am new to all of this I am after ideas of things to make, even though there is such inspiration on this site, and also equipment that is vital etc. I had a quick look at the shops but the magazine was sealed up and £3.99 was rather alot to fork out for something I couldn't look at first. I have discovered that I can use Tesco vouchers to get a subscription and I have enough to do this I would just like to know what some of you think of it first.

    Thanks

I have a subscription to this magazine and personally quite like it. Plus sometimes it's worth it just for the free gifts (especially stamps). There's a variety of makes and good ideas in it x
  • Just done a bloghop and had to pop back to say, fantastic makes on everyone's blogs :T:T:T Have left lots of comments (nice ones) and hope I haven't missed anyone.

Thanks everyone for the comments on my blog - I want to sneek off today and buy a load of papers. I said I wouldnt get anymore from hobbycraft/the range so they are a lot cheaper on the internet but I'm too impatient to wait for them to be delivered and cant actually see the ones that I like if that makes sense - worried I'll order loads and not like half of them! Hummm ... I can see me changing my mind and doing both lol!

Just had a quick look re. the melt dust/mica powder but cant figure out if they are the same thing lol! On create and craft they dusted over the embossed imagine once it'd been heated and then just dusted over the image with the mica powder with a makeup brush. The set they had was about £19.99 with about 12 mica powders and an embossing one too. Cant see that at all on their website.

Bought a new book today called The Missing, it's a crime novel (don't do crime books normally) and I've only read the first chapter but I'm hooked in already. Got it in Asda for under £4, it's a new paperback :)

rainmac, what was the name of the book you were reading at your Book Club, please. It sounded interesting and my kind of thing.

Also, where would be the best place on CP to put info & links about the Boweasy, I've just made my first one? Included with the Boweasy are a few links that may be useful for those with the other type as well.

Good luck with the card Party Sunrise, your tables looks fab.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to comment on my blog, it means a lot. Gemm, in answer to your question the embossing folder I used on the purple card yesterday is for the cuttlebug, and is calld Daisy Pattern. I bought it from here, and love it as much as the swiss dots one.

Will try and do a few more cards today, cos it is pouring with rain, but need to do the dreaded housework first xx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
