Yay! i went to my craft shop today. I got some good bargains but i didn't go mad as got lots of bdays coming up which reminds me i had better get ds1's and hubbys done tonight while he is out.
I got some paper and card to go in my new paper holder drawers, some embossing folders for my cuttlebug and a crafters companion cd rom which was £14.99 reduced to £3:j It is most likely a very old version but for £3 i am sure i will use it.

is it just me but i can't get the search to work. I am looking for a quick sweetie bag template to do.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Rusty - this seller has listed them under her selling id rather than her shop name so they are coming up here instead of showing in her shop. She is in Poole, Dorset.

Dunno why she hasn't listed them in her shop!

I'd wondered why I couldn't get them to come up and then discovered that if I went on her completed they were showing as being relisted. If I do a search though for pretzel or even cello bags they don't show, thought I was doing something wrong.
I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all your help with the images! I now have 3 sheets of coloured in gorgeous images, I guess the next step is to make some cards!

So much knowledge and information in here ladies, thank you!

Tired mom What a sweet card, did you cut that image out yourself? Can you tell I'm hooked on images at the moment!

I'll hopefully be back soon with some of my creations.

The sheet for the castle was one I bought off ebay, someone had obviously printed it off the computer though and I did have to cut them all out so rather fiddly. Took it to the caravan and happily did it with glass of wine!

Rusty if you need any help with the party bags just ask and I will do what I can for you xx

Rusty not sure if it is any use but I have a load of the pink tiara organza wired ribbon left. I took the wire out and used it for the book marks in Erin's goody bags. If you want some just let me know how many metres and I can send it to you.

Lost half my quotes so back in a second......

Lyndach MEN!!! Aren't they annoying... Tut (rolls eyes) your oh sounds like mine, I have to be on his back reminding him all the time and if I need him to take something somewhere for me, I have to leave it in a bag on the front door handle so he won't miss it on the way to the car.. that's not to say he will remember to take it to where it should go once he gets it to the car!!!still, I don't suppose they can help it, they can only think of one thing at a time, bless!! ;)

I try this and my DH moves it from in front of the front door to open the door and then leaves it on the floor!

HELP please! My US card swap theme for this month is April Showers, I remember someone had a mouse stamp (Rusty maybe) with a flower in the rain but thats all I can think of, anyone have any suggestion for the theme please?

I saw a card somewhere where they had used a small heart punch to punch out on holographic type paper. They'd then cut the heart shapes in half and turned them upside down to give a raindrop shape, does that make sense. Just an idea as a background.

    x:)

I have a pro marker question, how do you draw in fine lines without it looking like a five year old has coloured in the image?
    If that makes sense :o

Have been colouring in some Magnolia images but have had difficulty colouring in her shoes as it it is a really fine line, and it looks a bit blotchy

Ok ladies, I want to invest (excuse to spend money!) in some tilda stamps and some decent pens. Where is the best place at the mo to buy Tilda's online?
and pen wise should I go for pro-markers or copics? I've only used Brushmarkers before so not sure what to spend my pennis (pounds more likely :o) on.
Advice you friendly ladies please? :j

I struggle sometimes too, I try and add colour gently and in tiny bits, usually works ok xxx

Another quick pop in and out from me - sorry girls! I just about have time to read but not comment at the mo.
Have just blogged a few easter baskets (thanks Rainmac for the link to the tutorial) and a birthday card.
And my exciting news for today is that I've just agreed to buy a 3rd hand cricut expression from the marketplace on ukscrappers. I could have bought a new one for the same money but I'd have only got 3 cartridges and I get 10 with this one. Surely that counts as being MSE (and environmentally friendly too) Woop woop - no more cutting out alphas on the cuttlebug for me!

    Tired mom .

Just wanted to say thank you from the little princesses or the 3 witches as my youngest calls them when they are cackling in the corner . lol.
Kaitlyn was thrilled and wouldn't take anything out of the box until she'd rang and told her mum to bring carly so they could look together.
She has very carefully put Alicias on one side until she gets back next week.
Thank you very much you and Erin have made the little princesses very happy. If it isn't a rude question where did you get the ribbon from it's fab.

Kaitlyn had bad news this morning she can't have a place at the school where she has been going to nursery she has to go to one a mile away . Carly will be going to Kaitlyns old nursery now we are supposed to collect 2 children from schools a mile apart at the exact same time. Think they'll have to have a rethink. Also found out carly's deaf teacher has done s** all so it make's things awkward as they should have started statementing her last sept when she started private nursey ready for her to go to nursery in sept and it's only just been started and when completed will take 18 weeks to go through . The ed depts special needs unit has no record of her . Fuming doesn't begin to cover it.
    Sorry for the rant.

Lei How did the jelly baby blinged holder go down? I bet your friend loved it.. :D How much did you charge in the end?

He was absolutely amazed and loved it! I wouldn't name a price as I didn't want to be seen taking the !!!! but then I didn't want to charge next to nothing when it took hours lol. In the end we agreed that he'd decide what it's worth and put some money in an envelope for me - so I'll let you know what he gives me x
