  • The flowers on my blog are really quick and easy to make. I cut strips of fabric, folded it and then cut multiple base shapes. I think I should get around 70 - 100 flowers from 1m so they're really cheap too.

thanks will give it a try and photo later

Finally started feeling a bit better on Monday and INSISTED that hubby took me to Hobbycraft for bargains! LOL!! wasn't actually that well and nearly fell over in Hobbycraft but I didn't care!! I needed BARGAINS and I needed them now! Anyway did get some bits but didn't manage to get the DCWV papers which was gutted about! Apparently they weren't reduced at that store! Did have heart palpitations when the total was rung up! EEEK Might have gone a bit mad!

Plus have ordered some more Promarkers after some lovely lady on here posted a link... Plus have ordered a ticket to go to the Ally Pally show on Sunday - want to try and stay focussed tho and pretty much just go to the Paypermill stall as didn't go there at the NEC - want to get lots of pretty patterned paper!

Anyway, definitely feeling better now thank goodness - not 100% but getting there - thanks for all your get well wishes everyone!

Tiredmom - Thankyou for the kind offer, I do however have a box full of ribbons! Love your castle card, sorry I managed to miss it last night, I was so tired and went to bed at 10 and slept til 9:30 this morning when DD shouted me!

Mad Frog - I tend to lightly touch the paper with my tip on the promarker it leaves a fainter line but looks fine!! :)

Nici - Sorry I can't help on the Tilda images, but my choice would be promarkers, mind you saying that I have never tried copics, but I know they are around £2 per pen, rather than the £1.50-£1.70 per pen for promarkers!

DTB - Fantastic news on the Cricut!! :j hope you will be very happy together :j :j

Craftygranny - You need to appeal against the decision, I was lucky to get DD into the nursery where DS goes to school (she starts at september) however I could be in the same place come her starting reception next year! my Friend has the same problem with her son and now has to move her eldest who is in year 2 because she can't have a place in the school for her youngest son!

Lei - Fab news that he liked it so much, i just hope he pays you for what it is worth! :)

Rainmac - Wow I love that sentiment!! I think I need to go find one ;)

Gemm - Hahaha! The spendy elves keep trying with me, but I decided that I wouldn't bother with jewellry making, possibly because it is something I don't wear a lot of myself! I would only ever make things for other people and mainly DD :rotfl: so I bought myself some stamps instead!

Right I should be up to date on here, but not on blogs so will wander over there for a blog hop now and then I need to be busy today! Hope you all have a good day :)

A big thank you to everyone for your kind offers with regards to an image for my 'April Showers' US card swap. Rusty has kindly volunteered to stamp me the mouse and the flower image that she made into a beautifil card a couple of weeks ago.

Anyone reading this, take a bow 'cos you're all a totally fab bunch!

craftygranny, rolling up the sleeves and am ready at a moments notice to come up and give some lady a ruddy good Essex slap! This is so out of order.
I've not experienced this as the only problem I ever had with mine was one of my son's being slightly dyslexic and that was before it was even discovered what dyslexia was. Almighty rows 'cos his teacher thought he was thick and I knew he wasn't. You're never ever given credit for knowing your own kids.

I didn't even know what statemented was until I read about it on here. so, I'm learning with you all.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
Wow! My Promarkers have arrived :j. I ordered them on 3 April (Saturday) at 1/4 to 1 in the morning and considering there's been the Easter break I'm really surprised and chuffed they've arrived today.

For anyone who missed my earlier post I got them from Angel Crafts (scroll down, last of the items in the Bulk Buy section). They're doing a bulk buy offer of 10 PMs for £15.45 or 25 for £34.99 with free p+p on both of these items, you get to choose your colours. As I hadn't got any PMs (and didn't really mean to start a collection anyway ;) ) I went for the 25 set as it worked out at £1.40 per PM.

I'm torn now - the sun is shining and I was going to go out in the garden to do some more, or do I now stay in and play????????????????

ahhhh twas you TomsMum who sent the spendy elves to me... I too ordered the 25 from Angel crafts!! (not arrived yet!) even though I've only just bought 15 at the NEC and had another 6 on order from somewhere else - altho those still have not arrived and its been two weeks!!! MUST STOP buying PMs until I get my act in gear & actually start stamping!! slinks off to try and find some stamps - getting more organised and craft room almost done but can't remember where I've put some of my stamps I really want to use!! EEK!

Rusty - think you've got the right idea I too am steering clear of jewellery making altho mine is for diff reasons - I LOVE wearing jewellery so it could & prob would get out of hand very quickly!!! Need to use up stash I've got already before embarking on something else to spend on!!
