OMG I haven’t been on since April 1st and how many pages (14 in case you are interested lol) have I got to work my way through.
My CUTTLEBUG has arrived and I want my mindees to go home now not at three lol. To make matters worse I can’t do anything with it until the weekend and I want to play. It may be a good idea not to open the parcel to the weekend. Oh dear I had promised hubby we would go out at the weekend NOT A CHANCE now lol.
I may never get any parcels delivered again though as I am sure the delivery man thought I had gone mad. First I had forgot it was coming (oops) and then when I realised what it was I told him how wonderful he was and started to stroke the parcel.
PepPop – that was cruel posting a picture of the blue one (wonders if I could get away with two CB’s)
thriftyscotslass. Melissa, TiredMom, Margarine, Hassy, – thank you for your kind words
Crafty JuJu – have just found your pm and will be in touch soon
Rusty – you sound like me box of cards and don’t do anything with them as I always make special ones for friends, etc from scratch (and usually the night before)
Hogshead – a lovely card (blogs are easy if I can do one anyone can)
Tiredmom - I have something called PIX resizer which was a free download and use that to make my pics small and upload from the desktop
Ali.b– I agree with the tidy house I just think it is so nice to return to a tidy house after being away
BunBun – congrats to your boys
Padster – I waved at you on my way to Barton yesterday but you didn’t wave back – now I know why lol:wave: Kate :hello:0 -
Tired Mom - can you please take the spendy elves back pleeeease? Went into town with OH yesterday and bought 2 packs of alphabet stickers, colour pencils and card blanks. Got new batteries for my camera so I'll be able to update my blog pics later.
Rainmac - good luck with DT - got my fingers crossed for you.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap site to buy cellophane card bags please?0 -
Afternoon all, lots to catch up on as always but I am pretty much upto date with blogs apart from the ones who have posted in the last 2 hours!! :j that is amazing for me!
Flourgirl - please be careful when you use your spray glitter, it does come out with quite a force and does literally go everywhere, nearly a week later and I still have glitter on my hand/nail from it and it is still on the table! I tried to scrub it off and everything !
I am on the scrounge again! I am after a (preferably free) download of big polkadots, small polkadots and ginghams if anyone knows of any? I was going to buy the pink petticoat set but can't justify the £5 spend at the minute! Can anyone point me in the direction? Preferably all sorts of colours aswell!
I am having a bad day, DD is being horrible and nearly uncontrollable, then I tried to book out mini holiday (we were going to book a cabin up at keilder for a long weekend) but they are fully booked! So instead we are booked into a hotel in Edinburgh for 2 nights and will drive up the Fri morning, go to Deep Sea on the Fri Afternoon, Edinburgh zoo on the sat then a slow drive back home on the sunday stopping for somewhere for lunch! It is going to work out more expensive than the lodge/cabin but the kids will enjoy it! Just got to hope my new walking stick arrives in the next 10 days!
Hope everyone is ok? I might try and craft later!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Hiya
You can tell it's school holidays, not so many posts to catch up on.
PONR - Thanks for the advice re the sizing of photos, hopefully I have done it right I will see in a mo. Enjoy the craft show it sounds good. I am going to have a go at the flowers tonight at the class so will see how I get on.
Rainmac - Thanks for info re colours. I will take raincheck at mo on the Tilda as I have a few that others have kindly sent me to play with but I will holler at somepoint if you don't mind. Good luck with DT you really are a worthy candidate. The Princess and the Frog was very girlie but great as very traditional. DS aged 7 pulled a lovely face when I asked him if he wanted to go as well. Saw Chipmunks Squeakaul this morning, very painful on the ears. There was a long clip for "The Last Airbender" definately a boy film and looks super.
Mad-Frog - Glad you had a good weekend in Latvia.
Craftygranny - Pleased the parcel arrived safely and bet you can't wait for next Tuesday, that will be one very hugged little girl.
Flourgirl - Thank you for the pretzel link.
Dragonllew - The links for papers, do you just save them to your computer and then print off when you want them. Do you have to print them in Best or is Draft ok as I imagine they use an awful lot of ink?
This is the card I made for DD 4th birthday today. Definately need an edge punch and have fallen in love with stickles. I spent most of my time trying not to over titivate (not sure on spelling of that).
We've had a lovely day today. Present opening first thing, then Chipmunk Squeakaul. Lunch at Frankie & Benny's where they sang happy birthday to her and put candle in her pudding. Park this afternoon that has a super new play area and then playing with her presents this afternoon. We are all still full from lunch so easy tea tonight. I am out in an hour to go and play at cardmaking class so will see you there Skiergirl.
