Rainmac I'm so glad you have put your name forward for a Design Team and I do hope they give you a chance to show how very talented and creative you are x0

I have placed a dime alongside so that you can get an idea of size (didn't have any English money in my purse lol!!)
I used a 1 1/2 inch scallop, 2 x 1 inch flowers and 1 very small flower - mini punch.
I prefer the bigger one as the detail is nicer than in the small ones!!
I'm definately going to have a go at these, the purple one is gorgeous
I might spray some with Sparkle and Shine from Crafters Companion, Rusty and I managed to swap bunny ears for a tin at the NEC0 -

Craftygranny - I think other people have snapped them all up!! I left 2 MS punches on the shelf, but now not sure if I just bought mine for the sake of buying as not sure if I will actually use it or not!
You're probably right the shop was packed when we went this afternoon and people were on the way out with bags and bags of stuff . Someone prob went in and bought them all for ebay . There wasn't much at all. If you decide you're not going to use your's just give me a yell i'd love one.
I'm panicking now about this ribbon challenge thinking why did i go for it .lol. ahh well i'm sure i'll think of something .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Evening all.
You've all been busy and lovely makes on blogs. Does anyone else have the problem that they thanks people and then when they go into a blog and come back out all their thank you's have disappeared. My clock is correct though so I don't have Hassy's problem.
PONR - Very jealous of you going to the show I don't seem to be able to make any. Going to brothers this weekend so couldn't get and now realised we are in London for 4th & 5th Nov which is when you are all likely to be doing the NEC again. Hopefully some of you will do the Saurday. I love the flowers you have made. The SU scallop punch I have ordered are the EK ones I think just with their name. How do you do small photos by the way as I seem to fill a page when I post photos?
PepPop - Please hang onto the spendy elves as I seem to have a lurker anyway and he's bad enough on his own. Lucky you with your cuttlebug much more fun and better for the waistline than an easter egg!
Hassy - Glad you had fun at Alton Towers.
Flourgirl - Thanks for info re Hug in a Mug it is lovely. Who do you buy the pretzel bags off as I could only find international listings? I agree that you do end up wanting to buy all the SU stuff but that is where the classes are great. I go the first Tuesday of the month to one where we can do what we want but use all the SU stamps, punches inks etc. It means you can see what you really like and also if there is a stamp that you only think you will use a couple of times you don't need to buy it. The SU punch we used for the treat cups was 4.4 cm. I have measured the diameter of the sweet cup that I did and it is about 4.2 cm, hope this helps re the nestie size.
Carmim - Thanks for the images they are great.
Thanks also to everyone with all the info re saving them. It took me over an hour as each time I thought I'd got it right it turned out I hadn't and either hadn't got them or had really small images.
Marg - Thanks for info re Boundary Mill might leave that till we have more time. The tutorial re the sweet cups was great and I have now bookmarked her site. I actually bought a pack of those ladybugs a couple of weeks ago as I thought they may come in handy for something.
Rainmac - Your pink Tilda card is gorgeous, could you tell me please what colours you use for her hair.
Tomsmom - Useful to know that source for Promarkers, thanks.
Paddington - Glad you had good time, please can you tell me what DSD stands for my brain has gone on strike.
Bunbun - Congrats to your two they've obviously worked hard.
Had a nice day today. Took DD to see Princess and the frog and then this afternoon we went to explore a craft centre I had heard mentioned numerous times called Lady Heyes. DH watched the children play in the playbarn whilst I mooched in the card making shop. It is CrabAppleCrafts which I believe is owned by Rosemary Merry (someone to do with QVC). I was good and didn't spend too much just a few papers I fell in love with. Hideous price of £1.35 each but gorgeous they are by Best Creation Inc and called Once Upon a Dream. Very pink girly butterfly princess you get the picture. Also bought some paper off cut packs, ribbon off cuts, stickles and few other bits.
I've spent this evening making DD's card, can't believe she will be 4 tomorrow, will post pic of card tomorrow in better light. She had her party a couple of weeks ago so tomorrow is very low key. We are doing Chipmunk Squeakal, Frankie & Bennys restaurant and new playground at local park weather permitting. I am then at SU class in the evening with Skiergirl to have a play.
Off to bed now.

I like the bigger ones better as well!!! I was thinking of adding a bit of glitter or something to them as well!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Yes mine takes the thanks off also but if you refresh the page they come back!!!!
To do the small photos - you just go to get the links on photobucket and go to the one for forum boards and it gives you two codes, the first is for full size and the second is for a clickable thumbnail size picture.
I'm looking forward to the craft show on Saturday, it is my first one!!! Will be going alone but I don't mind lol, can please myself that way!!
The 1 1/2 inch flowers are the nicest and easiest to make but you would need to make a box for the card instead of an envelope (if you use the flowers on a card). The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Flourgirl, funny you should mention a DT as I've applied for one today
. It's open worldwide so I don't expect to come anywhere but you have to be in it to win it and all that
well done on entering for a DT, if they have any common sense at all they'll see how talented you are and give you the job!wishing you lots of luck xx

Tired mom - DSD is Darling (or dratted) step daughter - I'm still far too young to have one who'll be 21 in August though :rotfl::rotfl:
Off to work in a mo - soooo glad they've just announced the election date - should generate a few more calls like we need anyOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
