wouldn't be wonderful to be adopted by OAP! Just think of all the practise I would have with OAP's culinary skills.

ali.b.123 - hope you got all your housework done (you can come and do mine if you've finished) :D

Rainmac - love the easter baskets on your blog, were they very difficult to make?

Madfrog - have sent you a pm but thank you so much for the package that arrived today (kids tea on hold for a few minutes while I have a play!)

General question to anyone who has a blog. I was thinking about starting one but who do you think is best? I have heard of blogspot, are there any other ones out there that are free and easy to use? Your expert advice would be greatly appreciated thank you ladies. I just dont want one that is difficult to use (although I am quite good on a computer normally)

Hope all those who were feeling poorly are better now. My OH seems to be on the mend now thank goodness.

Hi twinklelittlestar, the baskets were soooooo easy to make, from a piece of square card and a couple of strips of card. Have a look at the tutorial I've linked to on my blog post xxx

I use Blogger for my blog and have no problems with it ;)

need some help please. I have done some small cross stitches because i was bored and now want to make these into cards. I dont however want to buy aperture cards that these will fit into as they are all different. Is there a machine or tool that i can get that wil cut the hole i need in a card for me? I would just use a compass and draw the circle and cut it out but i want them to look a bit more proffesional :-) Want to continue making cards as the ones i have made in the past have been greatly received and i really need to start selling stuff to make some extra cash :-)

I do stitching for cards and tend to take off a couple of bits of the fabric and mount the stitching onto the front of a normal card, like these ones. HTH :)

Hi everyone, i post very sporadically!! I'm about to start a blog, i think but not sure my cards are good enough but maybe i can teach myself/ improve them and it can be a blog journey. I don't know, i may also be going insane ;)
My hubby has just agreed to me getting a cuttlebug. On Craftsuperstore they are £54.99. I was just wondering if they go into sales often or whether i should just grab it now.
    Thanks for any advise.
Your cards are all beautiful by the way.
    Thanks

sorry been busy with my glitterpot order - just looking at them linen closet papers mainly - although card on my blog with new MS punch :).

Nipped round to my friends tonight to borrow her H2Os (twinkly paint thingys) and came away with 3 packs of paper :D She gave up teaching classes last year and her husband is concerned her stash is a fire hazard so just had to help her out :rotfl::rotfl:

Had to go to work looking like a soggy scarecrow this morning - had forgotten the electric was going off this morning for some sub station upgrade thingy - was just about to switch hairdryer on and it all went silent........................ didn't have time to wait for it to come back on so queue me standing in a gale with soggy hair filling car up on way to work :o
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

    Thanks Flourgirl

Unfortunately, I never did get that payment, I think I can forget about it now, as it's been quite a while.

Hope you all enjoy yourselves at the NEC, when is it you go now?

AliB, thank you for replying too, the Easter cake is my OH's fav too!

, that's a good price for a Cuttlebug, I haven't seen one cheaper than that and haven't seen any in a sale. Also it's free p+p and you get loyalty points from Craft Superstore which you can spend on future purchases. For the embossing folders they're also the cheapest at the moment as they have 15% off.

twinklelittlestar I also use Blogger, very easy. Wordpress is another one.

WBR Are you making headway with the Nellies? Nesties are definitely much easier but I've not seen any Nesties that make the fancier frames that Nellies have.
