Rusty Glad the rodents made it safely up to you.lol. Sorry to hear about all the tablets i know the feeling . I take loads and have to inject twice a day too. yeuch .
Choccy I have a delighted little girl here the postie paid her a visit. She came racing in the room with the post and said i've got a letter from choccy. She opened it up and sat reading and giggling then she did some rustling and oooohing and aaahhing then went out the room . she came back without it and when i asked if i could see it she said no cos i might steal her prize. Grandad said she told him she has some beautiful snowflakes. Thank you she's been in a very happy skippy mood all day .
On another note what would you do. On tuesday we got a card through the door from the post office addressed to kaitlyn it said they had a letter for her but postage had been underpaid and we had to pay 1.30 to get it so i paid online . It came today and it was a dental appointment so i rang the dentists to ask about it and the woman at the other end just said oh it happens sometimes and was laughing no apology nothing. When i asked to speak to the practice manager she said they had better things to do than just listen to people whinging and put the phone down. I wanted to go down there but my oh wouldn't let me i rarely lose my temper maybe once every few years but i was fuming and it's not a pretty sight. I was thinking of putting a complaint in in writing to the practice manager but my oh thinks i'm making a fuss about nothing it's only 1.30 but like i said she's 4 years old but even if it had been mine i wouldn't have been happy. surely an apology isn't too much to ask is it.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

Saucy - I get my papers from all over the place - I'm not a loyal customer!!!! I tend to buy my stuff when sites have a promotion on like free postage. This site stocks a lot of MME - they have some collection packs and some of the new ranges instock, free postage over £30! I think I'm going to place an order later!!! Sorry your stuff didn't turn up today!!!

Popkins - I can't believe you were tidying your craft room at that hour - hope you feel better soon. Your blog looks fabulous!!!!
Rusty - do the papers look as gorgeous in the flesh as they do on the screen???? Love the look of the martha stewart punch! Congrats on getting the order for the invites!!!! I can't believe you'll have to take 26 tablets a day - sorry the visit didn't go as you'd hoped!!!! The link I posted was to a cupcake holder from amazon for £13 - I thought it might come in handy for people who sell flannel cakes. I checked the link and everything went weird on my laptop - I didn't want to pass it on. I'll post it again if anyone's interested!!!
!
oh bless yer heart - my blog hasn't change yet so thanks for saying it looks fabulous!!! LOL!
I would love to see the cupcake holder...been to the pound shops today and got some jars for flowers/confetti stash and also some little 3 drawer containers too - also popped into Asda and got a 4 drawer silver plastic storage unit for £12 - think it'll be useful for paper! Oooh my room is really coming together!
Sorry a bit sleep deprived (just a tad!) so can't quite remember who was asking whether they should go ahead with their craft room or not but just thought I'd add my tuppeneth worth - me personally I'm a naughty little popkins and shopping 'is my one weakness' and if I had the money I would do it!!! But having said that you could probably do it cheaper from Ikea - thats what my room is - desk = IKEA, Shelving = IKEA, chair = IKEA and I think for the 3 I only spent about £70-£80!!! It would've been more if I'd got an Expedit which I would LOVE but have no room for one so got the 'Lack' instead but it is PINK!!! woop woop!! & the desk is PINK!! LOL! Admittedly I could do with a bigger desk but it was the biggest desk that fits in that room (box room!!) so when I've got some more pennies I'm gonna get kitchen worktop installed into the spare room along one wall so that way I should end up with plenty of room for my guillotine, die cutting machine(s) and for making up nappy cakes!! I'm itching to go to Ikea actually cos now its all coming together I can see what I need - more shelves & rails for ribbons etc!!0 -
Hi all
well have managed to complete 2 cards , will try and update my blog, spent most of today humming and ahhing about which papers to use on my cards..... does anyone else do this??
Also had to have a look at the craft charlie site for the new MME papers and they just slipped into my basket along with the new Cosmo cricket papers :rotfl:0 -

That seems a good price for one that holds 23. I have the Wilton one that holds 13 that is further down the page (bought it in a closing down shop and should have bought 2!) They look really nice with cupcakes on but it is never big enough for parties so have to have the extras on a plate, one that holds 23 would have been much better.0 -

 I would most definately write. It doesn't matter if she was 2 or 92 and whether it was 2p or £20 no one should be treated in that manner. If it happens 'sometimes' then I would say the staff you spoke to weren't doing their jobs properly and no one has complained previously. The way you were spoken to was completely unprofessional and down right rude and that is what is wrong. Sorry I'm having a rant but I hate it when people don't treat people how they would like to be treated, courtesy doesn't cost anything.

Yeah i would write or even go in there how dare she put the phone down on you.I Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0

I agree 100%. I would be soooooo mad if it had happened to me! And it's not about the money either."Finish each day And be done with it.

Forget them as soon as you can."

Thankyou so much!! I am sooo in love with them!! Have inked them tonight ready for me to colour tomorrow :j :j
I am shocked at the response you got from the dentists  If that was me I would have been down there in a shot kicking up a stink till I had been paid the £1.30 back!! Did the letter have a stamp on it? cause I know some people will post letters without a stamp or will put a first class stamp on when it should be a large letter etc!! I really would write in a letter of complaint and also tell them you would like a refund for the amount no matter how small it is!!!
Madfrog - I was trying to convince bunbun that she needed to buy the new cosmo cricket papers and that I would go halves with her but I think I will wait til the NEC and try and get them there! .... I am going to buy the bella bella papers in a couple of days and we will split the 2 packs between us! the joys of living localish to each other I guess!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
